How so? Looks like a good price to me.

Just under £110 at Lightinthebox (they've been recently.banned from HUKD for self-promotion I think, so can't post the link).

Have bought a couple of the X527's (Snapdragon 652). Very nicely built and very decent performance but battery life is woefully overstated in the reviews. Both X527's get about 2/3 of the day before needing charged. Nearly all my other phones are fine until bedtime.

Price is VERY good, but the risk of buying from these Chinese sellers is astounding.
No Warranty, return at your own cost if faulty, poor customer service, HUGE chance of it not even arriving.Yes there are many that arrive fine, but there are too many horror stories about all of the above. As has been mentioned there should be a health warning.
Cold from me for that reason

Cold for that reason, okay, but you said should be banned. I'm well aware of the risks of buying from China and would rather that I continue to see good deals and I can assess the risk to value for myself.

That raises the issue of people thinking that a deal being posted here is some sort of endorsement*. I appreciate that and hate to see people being ripped off, but buying from these companies is far from that. If you're buying on the internet you have a responsibility to make yourself aware of the pitfalls and if in doubt just post a question in Ask, which many people manage just fine. Don't pay by cash and you should have protection in the cade of items not arriving.

I don't have a problem with you warning people but you didn't, which was why I asked.

*people have a responsibility to understand the nature of any website they use and this is clearly a community site where people share deals, not trustpilot or whatever such a site is called.
