Another newly launched, dirt cheap smart phone from China (which we will all probably reject in favour of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4!).

Key specs are,

5.5" 1920 x 1080 IPS screen
3GB RAM/32GB Storage
Mediatek X20 MT 6797 deca-core CPU
Android 6.0 with LeEco skin
Dual band wi-fi
16MP Rear camera with dual tone flash
8MP Front camera
Dual SIM
Fingerprint scanner
Metal body
Gyroscope plus other sensors (yey!!!)
3000 mAh battery
USB-C port

NO 3.5mm headphone jack, no NFC or SD card!!

Here's a very good review of the phone on YouTube. Clearly the phone is far from perfect but you do get an awful lot of bang for not a lot of buck (and a gyroscope!!)

TBH when these got below £100 they probably shot themselves in the foot a little, as under £100 you cant claim it back on your credit card ( or can you, thought the lower limit was £100 ) insurance..... but the specs for the price are worth the risk IMHO, just use PPal as checkout and you should get some cover....dunno why cold, equiv named brands would be twice this price, maybe because LeEco are in financial trouble/support crud?
I'd imagine it's cold because of the Redmi Note 4 which is generally regarded as a well build, well supported phone with the very good MIUI and very similar specs, and only costs about a tenner more (if you buy global rom with no band 20 - fair comparison as no band 20 here either).

If you want to do an on paper spec comparison
Pros for this compared to the Xiaomi:
The MT X20 is snappier than the SD 625.

Cons for this:
The Redmi N4 has a 3.5mm port
And an SD slot (shared 2nd sim)

It's also probably icy cold because it's only four days until the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is officially launched (which is sort of what I'm waiting for).

I'll be surprised if Xiaomi do Black or Global version on launch day. Give it 6 months.

If you are referring to Section75: I suspect it will not apply as the required debtor-creditor-supplier realtionship will be broken by the obligation to use the 3rd-party AE card processor, just like using PayPal would similarly break the S75 qualifying relationship. Happy to stand corrected if a HUKD member has been able to pay the merchant directly by UK credit card and obtain S75 cover. Purchases funded by PayPal provide lesser 180days protection.

I will still recommend you to buy xiaomi as it is has global rom and no spyware plus they do update their roms very often. LeEco is basically dead they dont update anything. Company will collapse soon
