That's the annoying thing about ribble - you pay £3 postage, then they don't dispatch for 4 days!

My view is I have the option for paying full price for things at a LBS, buy things at a discount online with poorer service, or buy from Amazon when they have bike bit I need in stock and get both service & sometimes a great deal.

I always go for the cheapest option and order ahead. They're cheap because they don't spend lots of money on things like a large customer service centre, the cost would be passed onto us customers anyway. Delivery is never free every business pads out the prices to include it. Ribble won't be full of people sitting around doing nothing, I have no doubt their staff are currently very busy and the business is just trying to keep afloat through the tough times bike manufacturers are facing right now.

I got one of these last week. I haven't really got a use for it yet, but I couldn't resist it as I was buying other things and paying the delivery charge anyway. The stated weight is definitely 'optimistic', mine was 364g.

Weird. I spotted this earlier and then it appears on HUKD straight away. Who's stalking my history?

I think the Sonder (Alpkit) flared bar might be a better shape though. (edited)

Bought these a couple of weeks ago and really pleased. An upgrade from the standard un-flared bars on my Pinnacle Arkose and my first experience of flared bars. Been out for a couple of rides so far and it's really improved the feel and control, especially when on the drops. I think the 25 degree flare is a good compromise between control, width and style. Bought a traditional look seat for £4 as well (not installed yet and might rarely use but looks great) and a couple of other bits still with £3 postage, so £6 for the bars is exceptionally good value.

Was tempted last week. For some reason seeing this post makes me want to buy it more

    Hope they’re good.
