Back in stock at my local Home Bargains (Liscard, Wirral), 400 ml tins of Levi Roots Coconut Milk for 69p. Long B.B. date of 03/2017. Product of Thailand, 49% Coconut Extract. Great for using in curries etc.

Not seen them in store for a while - hopefully the new stocks are available nationwide.

H.Bs. also stocks another good coconut milk - it's unbranded but states "Rich & Creamy" on the front of the purple label and "specially produced for T J Morris Ltd" (who are Home Bargains) on the back. Also 69p for a 400 ml can, it has a higher Coconut Extract content of 75% and i.m.o. is much richer than the Levi Roots . Bar code is 1049 8958. B.B. Mar. 2016. Worth a try if you like creamier coconut milk.

Both an excellent price compared to branded coconut milks stocked in most supermarkets.

Ah Levitt Roots, he's done well but will **** his name out to anything

2 tins for a pound at B&M - a few different brands but includes Tropical Sun

is this stuff made for places like B&M? never see it in the actual shops. Makes it hard to see if its actually a bargain or is just normal price.

Coconut milk tastes great in coffee btw.. even cold coffee!

the purple label can of coconut milk in HB is the best around IMO

I've had a tin of this in my cupboard for ages but needed some more so went to Tesco earlier and got the Blue Dragon coconut milk. Compared the tins and it's made in the same factory, same balance of ingredients, even the same description on the back word for word, just with a different recipe on each. They just made an identical product but stuck Levi Roots branding on it. Never seen the Levi one anywhere other than HB though.

Had a look at the latest batch of L.Rs. coconut milks - can't see producer's details, only the distributor's in Leigh. But, if it is from Blue Dragon's producer then it's a good price as B.D. is usually £1.50 to £1.99 in supermarkets. About other stockist; you could be right, don't think I've seen it elsewhere. Anyway, pleased that it's back!
Thanks for the info.
