Over priced and the quality isn't there anymore.

Also another 10% through the newsletter sign up. Cheers OP!
If you're an existing email subscriber check your emails. I had one a few weeks ago for 20% off which worked on top of the sale prices.
Topcashback have 8.4% cashback.

So you can get more cashback with them, or submit a Quidco highest cashback guarantee claim to get 8.8% with Quidco.

Agree that at list prices they are overpriced.

However the combination of this sale, 20% discount code and 8.8% Quidco meant I managed to get several pairs of 511s ranging in price from £30-44. I'd say that's very reasonable for branded jeans.

Pretty much always £30 in America, cheapest 501 was about £40 in this sale, can get them for that from Amazon. As for the brand, mostly paying for the name now. Probably 5% of their Jeans are of a decent quality and they usually sell those in Japan for a ridiculous amount of money.

There's much better brands out there now and even places like New Look are making denim that's far superior.
Ignore what name is on the denim and feel and look for quality.

Yes I usually get some in US when I go but haven't been for a few years.

Unfortunately I've got an extra long inside leg which severely limits choice of jeans I can get to fit, and places that sell Levi's cheap often don't stock the extra long. Next, Levi's, and Jack Jones are brands I'm aware of but if you know any others that you rate as good quality that do 35" or 36" leg please let me know.

I know Topman do a 36" Leg, although you have to look instore as the quality varies by the type of jean.
I would love a law that requires a company to state the cost of manufacture of goods they sell.

Nice find...Hot
One of the few jeans I find that actually still have zips instead of those damn annoying buttons. Who's idea was it anyway.. I literally seek out jeans solely based on if they have a zip fly or not.

Totally agree with Leg Length....its a nightmare!! I buy from New Look mostly as they have 36 in Tall section (NL have a good mens section too) , i know Topshop do (Topman) but apart from that its the massively over priced 'Tall people brands' wayy to expensive for what it is! I dont cost them material in width so why they cant whack it on the end without hassle i dont know. 🤩🤩🤩

Shopping in Las Vegas mall a few days after memorial Day last year we picked up some jeans for £10.
£110 for Levi’s jeans. Ho ho cold as **** ho.
Love Levi's, I have given heat as this is red hot! Let's go shopping

How do you propose they do that then? Are you talking pure raw materials or labour costs? If so do you include head office staff like IT, HR etc or just people purely on the production line. How much do you factor in for the machines that make them? How do you take into account currency fluctuations? I could go on but this is just common sense surely?

Far superior denim at New Look? I agree New Look denim is great value but far superior to Levi’s? Nah
A good quality jean if you buy 501 which has a button fly . Albeit I never pay above £40 as they always have these sales a couple of times a year .

Their 12oz and 13oz Selvedge denim was/is way better than most things being sold by Levi's. Levi's as well as being inferior in quality to what they used to make (I have 501s from the 80s that are still in better shape than all the mainline jeans I've bought in 2000 onwards) have almost the same level of quality control as Primark these days.

I love the Levi's cuts and 501s are pretty iconic but the current quality doesn't reflect the asking price especially when compared to the US prices.
Might be good for someone my grandpa's age as their jeans look exactly the same as decades ago...
Disgusting what we get charged here. Even at sale prices. Whenever we get to Florida I stock up. 2 pairs for $50 at the outlet. Rip off Britain and mug consumers
Just to add that the student discount via Studentbeans (20% off) works on sale items too, although it doesn't combine with the free postage code

They can only sell at a price the consumer is willing to pay... you can't blame a business for wanting to maximise profit!

Wasn’t Levi’s the brand that created button fly?

Cost to the factory alone, so everyone can compare like for like.
Most are subcontracted. So unit cost per garment production.

Eg Levi Jeans cost the factory £3.
Other brand costs £2.50.
If Levi's retail at £40 and Other brand £10 one can have a guide of value.

One can decide if they view high office costs, promotion, endorsement worth while (what ever they are).
I do not want to pay for endorsements.

This would be a rough guide.

Topman trousers got a hole in them first time I washed them. And didn' get a receipt.

Levis I picked up a pair from Zalando for about 30 pounds new awhile ago..
The quality is okay . I used to buy wrangler but when I went to lean over they ripped in pieces (fortunate I was inside at the time)
If you fancy Levis, buy it in the US as it's half-price there. Just find someone who go and ask them to buy for you.

Were they?! There goes that idea then haha! Looks like it's Burton or possibly next as my only options. Oh and M&S.
