Anyone know if this is any good? For a small room.

It’s very small, so it will be noisier than a bigger one for the amount of air going through it and the filter will need cleaning/replacing more often if there’s any dust to speak of. You’d be better off with a bigger one if you can fit it in, which you can always run at a slower, quieter speed and it will still filter more air. Check out the Rowenta recently posted here (comes up under “you may also like”) for not much more. You want to be looking at the CADR rating which stands for clean air delivery rate - the volume of filtered air it produces per hour in cubic metres. CADR on this is 50, the Rowena is 230. For all of them you’ll want to check the availability and price of filters before buying, they can often be expensive or hard to find (more common for lesser known brands.) But I have found they make a difference. (edited)

Sorting out the black molds now so just asking, is this good to have it to get the air purified?

From my experience, this or any air purifier won't do anything to prevent mould, even if it may make the air slightly better. What you need for that is a dehumidifier.

Is the blue speaker grille interchangable? Would prefer a red/burgundy colour to match my living room.

Also I may be nitpicking here but the volume knob looks a bit tacky on the front.... but good deal for a 35W speaker nonetheless (edited)

I thought it was a old late 90s or early 00s PC speaker lol

These air purifiers are good but as with all the ones you buy, the refills are very costly.

Thought it was a speaker initially!

£40 for a replacement filter!... unless somebody knows better? Is there a compatible generic filter? Seems like the device is a loss leader for selling filters...like printers and cartridges.
