Would have been better if it had a loop for a keyring

I have the 32Gb usb3 version for about 4 years. Still working. Great memory stick.
I have some 8gb versions of these. They feel pretty cheaply made but do the job.
I have two. Reliable so far. Major problem is the appalling slow write speeds for very large files (>1GB - reason for purchase). It feels as if the buffer very quickly maxes out so USB3 speeds reduce to sub USB2. No proper specs on the Lexar website. OK for WORM usage but be careful otherwise.

I had assumed from the past that Lexar was a premium performance brand. Looks like they are trading on it rather than sustaining it. Hence cold.

If I had bought a USB 3.0 memory stick (and I was using it in a USB 3.0 port) and I wasn't getting the performance of USB 3.0 - I would take the memory stick and/or the computer back to where I had bought from (assuming still under warranty).

Yes - I think if I removed the USB interface I would invalidate my warranty. What I wouldn't do is moan about it.

Interesting... I have had the 32GB version for over a year and consistently get read/write of 90MBs/40MBs on large files (videos) on Windows 10 - and my motherboard was one of the first to natively support USB 3 when I bought it almost 8 years ago.

Thanks. Really good one. I think this is better than the sandisk ultra deal that was posted today
There's a version with a plastic usb socket, do NOT it open it, send it back.
Ours has latest less than 2 years.
