Would this work in a switch ????
Yeah it will
Mine from prime day works a charm..
Recommend doing a fill test when you first receive. Worthwhile with any large card.
This more reliable, than integral?

No one knows, these haven't been on the market too long and the brand was sold by Micron to a new memory maker so little data so far.
Is this a U3 or a U1 card? Anyone know what the write speed is at all please?

Look for "h2testw". Fills the card with files which you delete when tested. Running on a 128Gb card at the moment - takes a while

Exactly that.. Connect to your pc & fill it up (files that you know are good). Don't have anything else running that could interrupt. If it writes all files without ending early - or if it doesn't hang on one particular file - your good to go. If you want detailed info, should there be any file errors - use teracopy (expand to full screen once started - it'll then remain open - whatever the result).
Yoink! Thank you!
This is awesome. Just found a 128MB MicroSD in an old Kodak LCD Picture Frame from over a decade ago. Must be a sign. I wonder if there's a cheap 65" TV I can insert a 256GB MicroSD and have it run as a slightly bigger picture frame.
Probabaly a stupid comment, but is there any reason why this wouldn’t this work as backup storage drive for pictures etc?

My Integral 256GB sd card just failed. It last just over 8 months.

Thanks. Haven’t got tonnes of stuff and already back up via cloud and an external drive, but I’ve had my fingers burnt recently so the more copies the better!

It's no good testing it like that. For starters, if the size isn't legit (ie. it's a hacked smaller card) once it reaches capacity it'll just go back to the start and overwrite the files from the beginning. The best way to test it for free is to use H2testw and, for a card that size, probably leave it running overnight. Get it here: softpedia.com/get…tml

It's worked for me on legit cards (testing for errors not capacity fakes) But thanks, i'll give that utility a go.. More convenient at least
Are the write speeds too low for the Nintendo Switch? They appear to be around 40MBs or less.
£24.99 for 633 micro sd cards

That is a bargain

Lent my sister my camcorder with the 128Gb one (which had barely been used). Packed up on day 1 of her holiday. No idea if that was just bad luck or poor product. Not had a problem with other males.

Thank you for explaining whymy post mentioning H2testw was a good idea. I assumed people understood the principle of fake SD cards.

Did the faulty card scare the guys off, that's unusual

Fantastic price. Just worried if these cards are reliable or not? Need a couple for a Disney trip.

True. A Chinese flash memory maker, Longsys.
Seems we'll have to actually see for ourselves how good or bad it is (Just bought one myself)

I've just ordered a Lexar SSD too, time will tell. I have some comfort in that Longsys (Lexar brand owner) have a partnership with Marvell who design SSD controllers, I doubt Marvell would use a bad memory maker for their products so hopefully we should be OK.

It would, but would be slower than traditional HDD/SSD
Also because it's so small, it could be lost very easily

There is a third variable in the equation - Bad Luck, Poor Product or Your sister
Would it be OK to use in a Huawei media pad?
Half of the sandisk price, probably too good to be true. Would love for some one to test and post benchmark results online

It's printed on the card itself. Read it
