Seems a good price for a class 10 card. Last deal for a class 10 card on here was £14.75 delivered from an eBay seller, however they seem to be above the £16 mark now.

Anyone seen cheaper?

bought one few weeks back for £16 incl delivery which also came with 5 year warranty. Even though mine is also a class 10
I cant really see a difference in speed compared to my previous 16gb class 6.

Seriously £9.99 to post this thing to Northern Ireland, voted sub zero...
This is HotUKdeals remember, not HotEngland&Walesdeals (They even charge £9.99 to post to the Scottish highlands)

I think class 6 used to be the maximum speed a while ago. Cards that met class 6 had no other rating to go to. If you look at some of the more expensive class 10 cards they offer 30mb/s write etc instead of the minimum 10.

Reevoo reviews seem to indicate that this particular card is prone to getting corrupted.

Surely that is the same as voting in store deals cold?

Or deals that go via courier on other sites and so charge more for postage?

search for previous postings of this card, it seems to corrupt easily, I've had a nightmare with it in the S4

Those store specific deals annoy me as well - however they are usually labelled as store specific.

I fail to see how any UK company can justify a postage surcharge, especially when they use Royal Mail... I understand other courier/delivery services add the surcharge and this can't be absorbed, however there are so may other courier/delivery companies to choose from. Look @ Play.com they aren't even based in the UK and they offer free delivery to the UK, I believe there are more examples of flat postage or free postage companies that those that surcharge now...

I'm only commenting on what is relevant to this site...

Thanks for the warning, was hoping Lexar wouldn't suffer from the same issues inflicting Sandisk cards in Galaxy phones.
Was about to order one but I'll pass, my data is worth more than the couple of pounds saving.
Still hot though for anyone that not planning on using one in a Galaxy phone.

I have a Samsung class 10 in my note 2 with corruption issues. Becoming a pain in the bum. Any idea what card does actually work in here lol?

Got about 18 months out of one before it corrupted in my galaxy :-(

I had the same issue with three 10class cards in my Note 1. I suppose 10class cards do not get on well with Notes...

go with sandisk ultra UHS1 for a few p more, more reliable... the hard bit is getting a real one!!

I'm using this lexar class 10 in my galaxy s3. Been OK for a year or so. Lately photos getting corrupted, can't be opened, weird symbols in the file name. Twice the card wasn't recognised as being in the phone. How do you prove to a manufacturer that it is temperamental? I think in these cases it'll be more time and cost to go through warranty than just get another.

ebuyer always charge stupid price when it comes to post it to NI, while they are still posting it with RoyalMail

Send them an email and ask them to justify how it costs more to post to NI by royal mail?

I can only assume they do not have a system in place to tell the difference when something is sent via RM or not for NI.

Play.com do not sell items themselves anymore afaik? or are stopping doing so... Anyway, I'd bet couriers charge them slightly more than the likes of amazon, ebuyer etc as they have to collect it from Jersey.

heat added(_;)

Got one last time and got this as well as it will come in handy for back ups

The question is even tho is a class10 is it fast enough for a gopro hero3 black???

im too wondering if its any good forgo pro hero 3?
also wont be any better for hero 3 to get shock proof one like this one amazon.co.uk/gp/…ers

BADMANTING:
HERO3: Black Edition Camera
A Class 10 MicroSD card up to 64 GB is required.
Not all Class 10 microSD cards have the same data write speeds. If you plan to shoot in 4k, 2.7k, or Protune video modes with your HERO3: Black Edition camera, we recommend using one of the following microSD cards for the best performance:

Lexar 32GB SDHC 600x (LSDMI32GBSBNA600R)
Lexar 64GB SDXC 300x (LSDMI64GBBNL300R)
Delkin 32GB SDHC (DDMICROSDPRO2-32GB)
Delkin 64GB SDXC (DDMICROSDPRO264GB)
Samsung 64GB SDXC (MB-MGCGB/AM)
With the camera software update released July 29, 2013, using other microSD cards with your HERO3: Black Edition camera while shooting in 4K, 2.7K and Protune video modes may result in a reduction of the data stream rate from 45Mb/sec to 35Mb/sec.

Not Samsung I'm afraid.

Good deal. Bought one of these in Nov 2011 for £24.99 in an Amazon Lightning deal. Still running strong in my GS2

Great deal but corrupted in an s3 i owned.Only buy genuine samsung class 10 cards now.Still worth a buy.

i've had loads of corruption issues with this card in my note 2... dunno if it's the card or the note 2 though...

Damn. Just bought one last week for £22. This is a good deal. Might even get another one.

Voted hot

Had two sd micro cards that failed on me. BOTH were Lexar. I may have been just unlucky, but I'd prefer not to buy that make. Yet my Lexar usb drive has been fine !

Ordered..and 1.51% via Top Cashback

Good price .. hot!

I have this card and it work very well for a few weeks in my S3 but then corruption issues began. I lost a months worth of data I had transferred from my phone over to the memory card. (Glad I had backed up monthly so it could have been worse!)
I had loads of problems in my S2 with Sandisk class 4, 6 and 10. I believe it is just the Samsung phones. Some are ok but a lot have issues
Just go for it at this price and back up as often as you can!

Never had a problem with my samsung class 10 in my note 2

Nice. Got one last time it was this price, works fine in the Nook HD+.

Well this work in the Xperia z?
