Have been having a problem with this particular Lexar product, specifically the card reader, Linux Mint 17 will fail to install if you attempt to use these to install from a USB image using one. I've tried multiple downloads, used the same Image on a different Integral Fusion, and Kingston SE9 USB devices which then work. Different microsd cards in the same reader, different Lexar USB Readers (of this exact type-USB 2.0) , so I could narrow it down to a problem with the actual make of Lexar Reader. All MicroSD cards were 32GB or less, i.e. FAT32

The new Lexar USB 3.0 Reader seems to be fine. Basically don't use them as bootable Linux USB media (for a full install), took a while to narrow this one down.

Before any says it. I've wasted far more time over the years with Windows, especially Windows Update.
