No mention of speed, even on Lexar's own site. This is probably a bad sign for anyone frequently wanting to write large files (e.g. moving media files around), but makes no difference if you're going to use it as a "write occasionally" archive for many smaller files.

i've had the 8GB for a while, it's plenty speedy enough, but prob not mind-blowingly fast.
quick enough though, and this is cheap for it from what i can see

yeah, so long as you don't ever have to try and claim on warranty
Dane-elec have completely non-existent customer care program, so quite genuinely you may as well ignore that bit where it says '5 year warranty'.
i know, i've tried. that's why i put this up as an alternative

Imagine the retailer i bought it from is gone out of business. the problem is manufacturer always asked customer to go back to retailer which i can't in my case.
