Apart from the rubbish plastic slide cap they are good drives and a cut above the usual horrendously slow ultra budget sticks posted here.
Great size of memory for the price.
Seems to be a decent stick. Certainly a good price for 256GB. If it can actually hit 150mb/s then I think this is a great deal.
Ordered one to try it out. Cheers OP.
40p Quidco too.
I'm not usually one to care about speed, but when I got 2 of the 128gb - the speed was unbelievably slow.

I usually swear by Lexar, but cannot stand behind this model. Nope.
Are these as reliable as a SSD drive? Can these be used to view videos from over and over?

These can't take anywhere near the writes of an SSD and while reads do degrade the drive if you write infrequently but read a lot it'll still last years. I've had the same Lexar drive used for music in my car for 8 years, read from daily so the read endurance on these sort of things is fairly good.

I’ve never had a memory stick fail and I am a huge nerd who uses them loads. As far as SSD reliability? Normally they’re less durable (less read/write lifetime) and also tend to be much slower than an SSD would be. Not to say don’t go for it, it would be perfect for your use case but maybe consider an USB External Enclosure and an SSD if it’s continuous video like CCTV or something. If it’s just for your TV or something to record and watch from, this will be okay
