83 colour cartridge?

Crikey, I thought my 6 colour one was posh!!!!

Out of stock online.

The last ink cartridges I got from whsmith online in their sale were VERY out of date. If you do order check the date when you get them - I got mine sent to store and the assistant ended up refunding them straight away!!!

Wow that's cheap. I'm going to buy one even though I don't have a Lexmark printer and will probably never buy one either!!

Why would somebody have a Lexmark printer?

funny enough, one of the worlds most popular printers in businesses etc.

Laser only tho, the inkjets suck balls.

i have lexmark printer.
why would someone have it? well we never had a printer, didn't understand much. we saw this one in tesco, £35 - printer, scanner copier and bought it.
it's great, apart from having to buy a new cartridge every month and we don't even print that much.

isn't it the same for everyone?

Get a new printer as soon as you run out of ink. It's probably cheaper.

Andrea, its just the price of the cartridges more than anything, some of the lexmark sets around £40 whereas you can get the printer (with carts in the box) for less or the same price. pointless and a waist of money.

i prefer the epsons as you can get really cheap 3rd party carts for most of 'em. a full set for me costs me about £4 which is around 90% cheaper than a lexmark set

Good point, and that's EXACTLY what I did after the first couple of extortionately priced ink cartridges I got for my Lexmark printer/scanner.

Always check the price of the replacment cartridges and wether their refillable.

This is a good deal, all the moreso because of the rip-off RRP to begin with!

Because they are cheap - I got my second for that very reason. Yes, the ink is a complete rip off, but I just bought a set of third-party ones for £20 which I will just refill from now on (assuming the printer accepts that they have been refilled...).

The free ink cartridges you get with the printers are only partially filled so its definately not cheaper to just buy a new printer anymore (especially if you haven't got one of the dirt cheap printers).

that is a salesmen's myth in most cases.

Most if not all carts are full when you have them. The only issue is that the heads need charging which uses a little of ink before printing occurs.
