Lexmark Wireless Impact Printer for £49 was £99 available at Morrisons only for this week.

I am not 100% sure but I think the model number is S305.

A great bargain for someone who is looking to buy a printer.

A half price door stop!

It doesnt make it a hot buy due to the shear fact that the price of the ink cart refills.

Therefore it makes this a block of ice

A sad indictment of modern society, whereby it's cheaper to buy a complete new system than just the one small part that is needed.

And then we wonder why we need so much landfill space :-(

This uses the new print engine from lexmark, with 4 separate ink cartridges. Review ]here. Better than the old lexmarks , but personally I'd go for something else.

Err new printers come with ultra low capacity ink.. They don't give you much. So where it may be cheaper to buy a new printer, you'll be buying a new one more often than you'll be buying just ink!

Don't buy any other make of printer, EPSON are reliable cheap and give high quality prints and you can get compatible cartridges for about £1 each.;-)

.... and they CLOG just when you want to use it most :-(

(Not that Lexmark are a good buy, they aren't!)

Best buy at the mo are Kodak printers, cartridges are original & cheap ... u pay a little more for printer but u save long term in cartridges.

The power of advertising strikes again :-(

Performance apart, FAR cheaper inks are around for other printer makes (such as Epson & Brother) too - except that they too all suffer the problem of printer heads clogging as the heads are fixed in the Printer, unlike HP which although very expensive has them built into the cartridge, so if it does clog, new carts replace the heads! Not cheap though, I only wish they were, as this has been a problem that has happened with so many printers of mine (various makes) over the years :-(
