......and before ye all say 'its a lexmark don't touch it' ....I know

Simply posted because I just bought one and it is just fine for 'odd jobs' and it is ridiculousy cheap! I already have an Canon ip4500 which is connected to my desktop...and so this is purely for printing emails or odd web pages while using any one of the numerous laptops we having laying round the house :-D

It is quite accepatable

OK - anyone worked out how much ink cartridges are - and does the printer come with "FULL" Ink Carts or the part filled ones?.................................................

Nope £28.78 including economy delivery £1.99 at Novatech.
novatech.co.uk/nov…z=0
Although collection at PC World using Quidco is £28.48 so a bit cheaper but unless you live next door you will spend a few quid on fuel driving to collect.
Also noticed two different model numbers Z1420 (Novatech) and Z1480 (PC World). Lexmark website does not list a Z1480!
Feel myself becoming a bit of an anorak on this subject. God knows why cos its a Lexmark and cartridges cost a fortune. However, as OP has stated it is handy for the printing the odd e-mail, etc. Would be good to know what cartridges it comes supplied with.

good find wellfun:thumbsup:

Cheers, its actually wellfan as in fan of Motherwell FC. I can assure you there ain't much 'fun' attached to supporting Motherwell FC.

£29.99 with free delivery from currys

Be aware...on the 3rd replacement...the wi-fi just doesn't work! Software is beyond useless. Made of flimsy cheap plastic. Considering just binning it....

This experience relates to the supposedly superior Z1480 model too!
