FYI - Cheapest ink I can find is under £10 delivered for both black and colour. Printers that come with ink are generally near empty anyway!

Can't comment on the printer, tend to find that it's the inks that cost the earth, but they've got some junior size inline skates at £2 on there too. Is that a good price?

as long as you're not expecting great quality and can accept this will probably self-destruct within 12-18 months, you can't really complain at this price.

Personally I'd steer well clear of lexmark as a rule, but a printer at £7 delivered if you need one cannot be a bad deal.

in fact, maybe grab three in anticipation of the explosions if the delivery cost is only once for the whole order....

Kalt!!!!

I bought one of these a few years ago as a temp measure ... still using it today andnever let me down.

so for £2.00 bargain, I have bought two just to have one downstairs and upstairs.

A few years ago, Dell were selling these at £10 with cartridges. Of course, people bought dozens and sold the cartridges for more than the £10, then they had to find folk to take the printers off their hands. Nice to see the same strategy is working still.

Jessops are doing the colour cartridge one for £2.50, but store collection only

Seriously, I wouldn't buy this myself but how on earth can anyone call it a cold deal?

LOL...
What a deal...lot of plastic for £2

Out of interest, why are Lexmark deals always slated on the basis of the cost of the cartridges? Isn't it possible to refill the cartridges?

I've got Canon, HP and Epson printers and can refill all the cartridges (although I have to use a chip resetter for the Epson). It's a simple matter to drill a hole in the right position, refill from a narrow-spout ink bottle and plug the hole.

I don't know about now, but at one time you definitely couldn't refil them.

I once got a brand new Canon printer for the price of the 2 Lexmark cartridges.

-45, I'm suprised, my two arrived today, one for each of the kids and got some cheap ink from Asda!
