I posted the remote-less version last week and it did pretty well, so now the remote edition is available for £30 with free click & collect, I thought I should share it too. Postage is £4.99 so if you've got an Evans near you, choose the the C&C option.

The Lezyne Micro Drive Pro 650Xl is fairly bright at 650 lumens, ideal for road cycling at dusk and on the commute. Personally, I would go for a bit of a higher spec for trail rriding at night, but this'll be okay for roads alongside other high-viz gear (stay safe folks). Next best price is £60, so a good discount on a sturdy piece of kit.

Includes: Remote switch, silicone strap, micro USB charging cable. If you want the remoteless version, please find it here:

With a maximum output of 650 lumens, you can be seen by other road users even in bright daylight conditions.

There are eight modes, so you'll have an option suitable for any conditions, with the most economical delivering up to 72 hours flashing at 15 lumens. The remote control is mounted near your hand, so you can operate the light while maintaining perfect control of your bike."

I got the one without the remote for 22 quid. Good 2nd light.
They are good lights but the build quality is poor, I've had many of these and the leds usually fail and go dim or the USB charge port breaks
Why do you want a remote for something mounted on your handlebars?

How can they be “good” if “build quality is poor” and you’ve “had many of these” ?????????

Why don’t you look for a good one of great build quality and just buy ONE!

Then post on here.....

They are good lights but reliability is poor. I commute over 2hrs a day and I have been through many of these, Macro Drives, Micro Drives they all failed on me. I have been using a Exposure Strada and See Sense combo and they have been perfect for over a year now.
The Lezyne Micro drive rear 180 has been good though oddly enough.
Fenix BC30R. Great price for a great light. I've done 3 winter's on mine, fine as a solo light on rural rides in the dark.

Where can I get one of them for £30 ?
I got my fenix from aliexpress. Currently £73.

Reading the above description on longevity by v1nny I know where my money would go.

Not just reliable build quality but much better battery and brightness with a LCD count down display which is much more use than you'd expect when in the dark an hour from home and you want to negotiate which brightness setting you can get away with.

You can't unless you pay over double that...
