Watch free-to-air digital channels with the built-in digital tuner and connect high definition sources such as a Blu-ray player or games console via 2 HDMI connections. Youll also experience powerful realistic sound from the integrated panel speakers.

The 19LH2000 features special modes for cinema, sports and games and theres a clever feature that will adjust the sound balance to emphasise voices and reduce background noise. It also features an energy saving mode and a PC input. Includes table-top stand.

This television is high definition ready which means it has the ability to display high definition signals with the addition of a separate HD receiver. HD broadcasts are at a much higher resolution than regular analogue or digital broadcasts and have greatly enhanced picture quality. Before any of the TV snobs say it, allow me: Only 50hz? Not full HD? 8000:1 contrast ratio? Plebs! Nice cheap little tellybox, i vote hot!

Nice little TV at a great price. However, I have lost faith in LG having bought two models recently.
The first a fullHD 23" from Misco had a non functioning power button on the side. Sent it back and would have had a replacement but it was then OOS :-(

Bought a 19" fullHD from OYYYY.co.uk (a good company to deal with). After two days this set began to crackle on the audio and the visuals would often break up and corrupt completely.

That went back and I'm now very happy with the Samsung 19" that was posted on here for around £200 at Currys. Great set for the caravan, but I digress.

So, was I very unlucky on two occasions? Or is the build quality a bit dodgy?
Shame that it put me off LG as I like the sets in general... Great OSG and great picture.

Forget this deal.

There is a better one to be had over at Richer Sounds:

Sharp, Aquos 19 inch LCD TV HD Ready Freeview TV for only £139.95 with 1 yr warranty or £153.95 with 5 year warranty!

Now, THAT is a good deal for a brand you can trust.

Head on over to the following link:

I have the LG19LH2000 and can't fault it. Very user friendly & clear picture on SD, also lets you switch off the screen when listening to the radio channels at night plus sleep timer etc.
To be honest for £139 for a bedroom portable from a reputable manufacture you can't go wrong.
I haven't used or seen the Sharp TV so I can't comment on that.

Shame it looks like a 1980's microwave, it's got a bigger frame than a snooker table

This is SO HOT that you guys have missed the massive difference with this TVm, that with a firmware menu the TV can play Xvid and MKV video from USB.

I bought this TV from JL for £180 recently and its great and perfect for what a 19" TV should be but the USB seals the deal

For details of firmware changes then look at AVforums

I would prefer the TV without DVD player built-in- like most people

I've had a bit of a nightmare with LG TVs.

Mine went faulty before christmas and due to the way LG manage warranty claims it didn't come back until yesterday.

The replacement was faulty with a stuck pixel and will have to be replaced.

I wouldn't buy LG again, not because of the product, anyone can be unlucky and get a faulty TV. My reason for not buying LG again is down to the way they managed (or rather failed to manage) the replacement process.

nice!

I had an LG monitor go faulty on me. Called up the support number and they had a working monitor delivered to me 2 days later, in exchange for the non-working one.

Yep, I don't doubt they can get it right.

My problem was caused by the fact they didn't have stock to swap out and that the repair/returns company was closed from 24th Dec to 3rd Jan.

If they'd had one in stock it probably would have been next day replacement.

The fact that my replacement unit arrived faulty is another story, and whilst it's just bad luck, it doesn't make LG look any better!

You don't have to keep the box... You could throw it out or keep it for a bed should someone rob your house. I mean your house. Not the contents.

I'd never buy boxed and new I swear by returns as they are individual, unique in their way. Fingerprints of snotty kids who broke the side switches are merely an added bonus!

Definitely a hot deal.
Ordered one this afternoon.
22" would have been nice, but just couldn't get a deal as good that lets me play from USB.
ok it needs the firmware hack, but that's not hard.

I reckon I'm going to succumb to the temptation and if my card will allow put an order in come monday... Pray God they'll still be available then!

The straw that broke the donkey's back? Cozworth806's firmware info. Well deserved rep to you sir!

I have a 19" and a 22" and updated (downgraded) the firmware and changed to allow USB movie playback in about 5 mins each including scanning for channels. Easy to do, and plays a lot more than my samsung DVD plays (MKV and mp4 IIRC)

Use a USB flash drive with nothing else on it, formatted to FAT32.
