Muchos Thanks

Ordered cheers. Been looking for one this size without a built in DVD so cheers

this deal is nationwide as far as I'm aware I work for asda in huyton liverpool and we had 6 on Wednesday night at this price also I'm 99% positive you can't buy a brand new TV these days with out freebies built in I think its a standard feature

free view even not freebies

it is a full HD TV so freeview channels are available

There are Freeview (DVB-T) and also Freeview HD (DVB-T2) channels, unfortunately It's something that most people don't understand when they buy a Freeview TV

There are lots of 'Full HD' tv's with Freeview, just like this one, that do not have Freeview HD compatible tuners.
You can use it to watch full HD content if you plug in a blu-ray player, a USB memory stick, or to use it as a computer monitor, but you wont get the Freeview HD channels from the TV alone.

However its still a good price for this TV.

I posted previous after i bought one, got to -25deg don't know why!
Very poor viewing angle despite what the spec said- be careful!!

I can confirm this is an amazing scree/monitor. I brought it to use as a computer screen and it is amazing as a computer screen! I brought it from the store last week so if anyone is worried! But one thing i am confused about is this deal has been uploaded ages ago and it went incredibly cold i can't remember who uploaded it but what?

Been looking for a small TV to replace my PC monitor, will have to check my local store.

thanks

What file types can it play if you plug in a UB stick?

Nice find, brilliant as a HDMi monitor in full HD glory and doubles as a TV when you want to watch a repeat!

Thanks OP.

Voted this (and the one originally posted by brassed here hotukdeals.com/dea…214 ) as hot as it's a really good price for this.
Still unsure whetehr to buy as reviews show poor viewing angle - which could be a problem (though tempted to buy and return under Distance Selling 7 day rle, if it is)

Bit of a noob question, is there a portable USB stick/aerial I can purchase to receive the freeview channels? I don't have an aerial input in the room.

Arrived today, anyone have tips for picture settings on HDMI and VGA? I turned off all the noise reduction etc. settings.

I dont think that would work , the USB is really for watching mp4 files or photos/music etc from a memory stick.
even if it did work somehow you would still need and aerial connection for it, so you might as well just connect a portable aerial directly to the TV or better run a wire to a dedicated one if you can.

It was availbale on line all the way through. A friend ordered one on line after seeing the very first post on this TV. This is a duplicate deal.

That may be true, but I likely would have missed the deal without the new thread. I now have my new 1080p TV/Monitor that I've been looking for for months.

Anyone know what the optimal settings are for gaming? The pre-loaded 'gaming' setting doesn't seem to be the best for me.

Additonally, I am unable to tilt the screen (down to up), is it limited in it's movement?

heat added, thanks OP

Couple of questions. How many hdmi connectors? Is it Freeview Hd?

i got this last time it was on deal - if your using it for gaming turn the gaming mode on. it doesnt look as good but it still looks pretty decent while playing ps3. its also 60hz so thats not bad aswell.

Found the answers, 1 and no.

already posted 30days ago by myself :-)

bought one....

It certainly looks nice, but the LG Logo puts me off slightly. For anyone who has one, is it at all distracting having that red logo at the bottom?

I can't help but worry my attention would be drawn to it occasionally while gaming.
