Real pity that there's no HDMI. Nice price for a Full HD LED screen though. Hot from me.

I just bought this one http://****.co.uk/ws/…53D
It was a Kenmark, the reviews were good but it wouldnt tune in so today they sent me a replacement tv. The new one is identicle in every way except it says Goodmans lol. I think they stuck the wrong badge on. The picture is perfect though. I wonder how many tv's are the same but with different names. (_;)

I thought mine was a good deal as i paid £120, i haggled, so this is an even better deal. Heat from me

bought one yesterday and it arrived today, but for some reason its showing as out of stock on ebuyer now

Regarding the lack of HDMI, you can get an HDMI to DVI cable for about £2.14 off Amazon. No sound but then this monitor has no speakers. No loss of quality either.

according to the spec its not got hdcp. However there are ways around that

I'd double check that it actually has the dvi connection.

I got the E2240T model, which does have dvi/vga, but I recall from when I bought this one (for £124 several months ago) that the S model didn't have the dvi.

I may be remembering wrongly, but I deliberately didn't go for the S model for some reason, and I think that was it.

Coming up as £122.41 for me for some reason?

Official specs at LG do not show it as having DVI:

I once spoke to someone who'd been on a TV factory tour. The TVs were rolling off the line and splitting into 5 different belts where they got their badge applied: "Philips", "Pye", "Decca", "London" and "Grundig".

Thats sounds about right. Soon i can imagine we will be buying a 'tv in a bag' It will just be the guts of the tv and a flexi screen or something lol.

My tv has a very glossy black surround, nothing special to look at but it does the job perfectly, especially in the bedroom. Anyway, i would rather be looking at the ceiling than the tv. oO

awesome deal
