Is it a good deal for 120 pounds? …Is it a good deal for 120 pounds? https://www.amazon.co.uk/HP-inch-Gaming-Monitor-Pixel/dp/B072Z5C9PQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1521336723&sr=8-1&keywords=hp+27o

Yeah, that’s not a bad deal. It’s obviously a bigger screen but it’s not an IPS screen, which I prefer for my monitors.
It’s also got a lower refresh rate and not sure if VESA mountable.
Heat added. This monitor is stunning. I bought the same monitor with same price on Black Friday.
This looks like a better deal

I have this, great sleek looking screen with very good picture. I was looking to pick up a second for when I eventually get a new desk and do dual screen. I will say though that the button screen is terrible, its one joystick type button under the middle of the front panel and it's a b*tch to use. Only other gripes are 1) the lowest brightness setting is still a bit too bright 2) no DP ports 3) stand isn't highly adjustable but no bother as it will be mounted

P.S. Freesync for the win, its a game changer (freesync is only available over a HDMI connection and the range is 40-75 fps).

Unfortunately, that monitor is not VESA mountable and quite a few reviews show dead pixels

No freesync. Tho actually a higher quality monitor it is not as suitable for budget gaming as the freesync posted, if you own an a.m.d. gpu.

Hence the big price drop.
Been watching this monitor for some time. Was around this price at ebuyer 3 or 4 maybe 5 weeks back before it went out of stock. I was going to buy one then but once I'd made a decision there was no stock & £135 was about the next cheapest I could find. This seems a lot of monitor for the price.
Cheers OP, took the plunge and bought it now rather than wait until I start building my desk setup
How does this compare to ASUS VS248HR? One of my Acer S243HL has died and the other is playing up so need 2.
The blurb says it's 99% sRGB but reviews say around 85%, any one know which it was?

It's 85% I believe. One of the big downsides of it.

True, but this is on paper, I ve read that people had issues and side effects when set up to its maximum settings..

Great little monitor and cheap as chips, I already own one. Heat added!
Thanks for this
Hmm, I just took the chance to compare the 22" version of this to my iiyama XB2483HSU, although the colours were stronger & richer it was also much brighter & didn't look as pin sharp. Nothing seemed natural. Strain on the eyes. Stick to my iiyama thank you.

Just to say tho' plugged it in as was straight out of the box.
