Tempted by this but the reviews are very mixed. Cant really get to the bottom of whether it works or it doesn't. Anyone have one and can shed some light on the subject? Price is good compared to Amazon and it's in stock locally, just not sure whether to take the plunge....oO

I bought one for a full price some time ago. Got it connected via optical cable to LG TV and occasionally use the Bluetooth to stream music from my phone. It's definitely worth if your TV doesn't have good sound (like mine). You will just miss the depth in the sound which you would have with the soundbars that do have separate subwoofer.
Previously had a 5.0 setup with floor standing speakers and A/V receiver and the soundbar sounds like if you have just one of those speakers connected but it fits my purpose of not disturbing the kids whilst they are asleep
Definitely yes from me for this price if you want to boost the sound of your TV

Thanks for that - made my mind up - going for it. Thanks again.

Would this work with a Samsung tv?

It has optical input, 3.5mm jack input and Bluetooth - if your TV has got any of those outputs it should work.

Good Sleuth. And thanks for the link.
Nice to have helpful folk around!

Just ordered, will offer my opinion when it is delivered tomorrow. No stock anywhere and for some reason Argos offered me free next day delivery. 1.51% TCB too.

Dear me, I foolishly believed the good reviews. Seriously, this is on-par with laptop speakers, I can't believe it cost me £55. Absolutely terrible and in no way, shape or form any better than the speakers on my LG TV.

Argos were happy to refund, it has gone up to £79.99 now so this deal needs expiring. I can't stress enough how bad this was, I put Blue Monday by New Order on it and the opening "beat" sounded like a 1970's typewriter.
