Looks pretty nice, hot!

That looks like a pretty nice stand that it comes with as well (tilt, swivel and pivot). It doesn't mention being height adjustable, but the pictures do look like it is.

It does have a 100x100mm VESA mounting option if you remove the included stand, but can not be mounted flush against the wall because its connections are on the back.

I have this monitor, it’s crazy for the price, I also paid £199. Have my ps4 pro hooked up to it, my gaming pc and I can also connect my MacBook via a usb c to DisplayPort cables. I highly recommend this if you don’t need to have a high refresh rate

Seems to have been this price for a while now, I got it in June for 199 from here too

60Hz not a good refresh rate for fast moving PC games.

1440p 144Hz is noticibly better than a 60Hz 4K.

If you're playing Xbox/PS4 on it then it will be fine.

IMO great monitor for the price. It was 199 before.
If you drop this to 1920x1080 FHD, can you drive it quicker than 60hz?

I wouldn't think so, as the monitor still has the same number of actual pixels to drive. I think a monitor with a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz should perhaps not be labelled 'gaming'. However, you'd need a pretty good graphics card to game at 60Hz at 4K. I'm thinking that this monitor would be ideal for productivity, viewing photos and video. 27" 4K seems like a good upgrade for my 24" 1080p monitor.

Back in the day dropping the res would make higher frequencies available. Just wondering if anyone with a fancy new progressive scan do-dah' had tried it.

Maybe that was in ye olden days of CRT monitors?
Ordered and selected Saturday delivery (tomorrow), then 5 minutes later the reply saying there’s a problem dispatching them from the warehouse, and that they won’t be able to give an update on the order until Monday. Complete joke...

I finally ordered one yesterday (Friday) evening. Delivery due Monday. I can live with that, assuming no other delay. Might be dependent on location. When I was living in Wales 'next day' delivery was very patchy.

Weirdly, in the end I got a dispatch email 20 minutes later, and it arrived this morning. Set it up and everything seems to be working fine (though it defaulted to 640x480 at first)...

Great. Very pleased. Arrived promptly. It looked on the website as if it was a £5 or £10 charge for delivery, but they delivered free. Ordered on the Friday arrived Monday.

Display quality is excellent. No noticable lighter or darker areas, or light leakage. No dead pixels. Text looks really nice and smooth, and photos sharp. Colour's fine. There are a few different settings, including one for "gaming", although I haven't used that. Strategy games, such as Factorio, Cities Skylines even Elite Dangerous look great.

The stand is quite sturdy, and very adjustable.

Only minor niggles. I was intending to use the monitor primarily with my laptop, but that only has hdmi out, and the Nvidia MX940 graphics card is feeble, so although it will output 4k, it's so slow it's unusable. So it's replaced the monitor on my desktop, with a GTX 1060 and display port, no problems.

Built in speakers are a 'bonus', but awful quality.

Overall very pleased. Second time I've bought from Laptops Direct with no problems. Ideally prefer to buy from a local shop, so returns are cheaper and easier, but luckily that's not been necessary. I can personally recommend the monitor, and other reviews are mostly very good.

Any good for the new xbox? Here's the specs:
CPU: 8-core targeting around 3.5 GHz.GPU: Xbox Series X GPU and custom processor.Compute Power: 12 TFLOPS.RAM: 13 GB for games, 3 GB for operating system (16 GB
Price has now gone up to £209.97. Still a good deal IMHO.
