Brought this monitor last year, and at the time it’s 1 of the best reviewed 1440p 27inch gaming monitor.

Monitor is very good, but might wanna change the stand

I've currently got a S2721DGFA waiting for dispatch at £259.99, how does this compare for a few quid more?

That's what I would like to know. Got the Dell ordered as well.

Think this would be a good budget alternative to a AW3423DWF to replace a Samsung LC27JG52QQUXEN?

Think I’ll go all out for the Alienware but would appreciate opinions

I would hold off until 2024 if you want a QD-OLED monitor. Yes the Alienware is great but ALL the QD-OLED panels are TV panels currently. There aren't any QD-OLED monitor optimised panels until 2024. The other alternative is to go Mini LED.

Also as you're probably aware this monitor isn't UItrawide, so it in no way is an alternative to the larger Alienware 34" Curved monitor.

This or the Dell S2721DGFA?? My Dell monitor literally got delivered today but I haven't unboxed it yet. I did a bit of digging prior to buying the S2721DGFA and found this LG to be similar in specs. They are both very similar but I went for the Dell due to the race reviews. The panels are similar and I love the versatility of the stand on the Dell so I think I will be sticking with it. Highly doubt any difference is noticeable. (edited)

Is this good for gaming ps4 for my son who's 12 or can anyone recommend a good monitor please x

For a PS4 I'd go with a 4K monitor as the high refresh rate on this won't be of benefit.
