5K is great if you’re using it as. 1440p pixel doubled on a mac

No way I’d use anything under 120hz now. Phone, TV, iPad, MacBook, PC monitor. All 120 minimum now.

Hopefully 5/6K 120 comes next year

Incredible price for people that can make the most out of the display - I do fear it will go cold though

I'm in the market for Hi-Res Screen.

I read somewhere LG is going to release OLED TV 27" and 32" beginning of 2023.

already released but they cost thousands because they're gaming monitors and also limited to 1440p (edited)

14ms response time sounds incredibly sluggish...

    It’s not a gaming monitor

I was tempted to get it. However if you want to use it on a pc you need to ensure that you have 2x display port 1.2 fed into the thunderbolt.

I've got a X67E Asus Creator motherboard and it has thunderbolt but it only has one Display port in on the motherboard as it's DP 1.4.

Whilst that can do 5k easily, this monitor doesn't accept a 1.4 signal.

You can do a custom resolution and get 39Hz at 5k or 4k60.

If you want 5k with DP 1.4 your only option is Apple's studio display which has a new display controller.
