Nope. Freesync just removed screen tearing due to FPS changes. The monitor won't go above 60hz if it's a 60hz panel.

These guys charge extra for using a credit card which isn't allowed, are they reliable?

We have bought many systems from them in the office. They are certainly reliable and a known brand.

Not only that, but 60Hz is only available via DisplayPort, or HDMI2 (while connected to a source that can do 60Hz over HDMI, of course). HDMI1 only does 30Hz.
