Think i'll bite. This is the lowest I have seen for a 4K IPS in a while. The fixed stand is compensated by Vesa.

I would have gone for the Philips 276E8VJSB for £196.16 if it had vesa support.
Old model but apparently it's the same panel as the UL600. I have the UL650 and its brilliant for gaming on the One X but HDR is garbage. I leave it off

Even if u did need height adjustability the UL650 which is the newer model, is only 50 quid more. U can tilt, swivel and adjust the height

True, but I have an unused monitor mount which I can use for this purpose. I'll use it only if the default stand height is unsuitable to my needs. Apart from the adjust ability there is not much difference between UL500 and UL650.
Just what I’m after - heat added. Thanks OP
Alright for 4K but the panel has loads of bleeding/ glow, black levels are terrible.

Out of interest, what are your settings if you have HDR disabled? I agree that some of the HDR is a bit all over the place, but I've tinkered with the custom setting and HDR on and am satisfied. Just interested knowing what your settings are.

I've left it on Custom with just the brightness toned down to 70. I was pretty satisfied with the picture out the box. But when HDR was enabled the picture automatically adjusted when loading a game and it was horribly washed out like I was getting a blue tint. Are u using your Xbox with it?

Not mine. No bleeding at all. I was aware before buying that they were prone to bleeding so I was a bit worried as to how mine would turn out. Guess I was lucky. But I did notice a tiny dust like mark which appears to be inside the panel but I only notice it when I'm really up close to the monitor.

I used it with a PS4 Pro.
The monitors are pre calibrated - so that makes sense.
Did you change any of the super resolution settings or anything else?
I've noticed a bit of ghosting while playing FPS games, what about you?

Oh right well as the PS4 is a different system altogether maybe the HDR might be more suited. Nope I changed nothing else other than enabling freesync. I did fiddle about with the picture modes but Custom looked fine to me. As for ghosting I haven't noticed any. I've played various games to see the performance and colour and all was good.

That is one thing I wish worked with PS4 Pro - the ability to enable freesync...sigh. That should arguably help with the ghosting.

At this price ofcourse. The HDR too. £200 is still excellent for a 4K monitor. This has afew things going for it.

I hope OLED comes in 32" etc. soon.

LG has a 32 inch VA monitor which is really what I've been spying for the last year, the price hasn't moved much I believe it's at £399 currently. 4K, Freesync, great response time etc. The VA gives it great black levels.

Yep although I haven't checked if it actually makes a difference. What picture settings do you use?
