Amazing price for new. Got this via Amazon warehouse at this price on black friday
Mixed reviews on this - watch out for second hand units being sent and bad backlight bleed. Great price though.
Ordered one of these a few weeks back for the same price, more than happy with the monitor and backlight bleed is very minimal for me
IPS always have backlight bleed to an extent when displaying dark colours, and it is more obvious if your room is not well lit. This can be never be completely eliminated A lot of people send them back not realising that's how they are meant to be. Some do have worse than others, but most I've seen returned as "problematic" are just not setup properly brightness wise.
LG have a 27xx500 4K variant (can't quite remember the model) that is only £200. The frame and stand are plastic rather than metal, but its completely adjustable. Laptops Direct stock them. No HDR, not the brightest panel, but fine enough for window less rooms.

Mine has very little IPS glow. I don't know if this is typical or if I'm lucky. Only 60hz but actually very fast, fine for FPS and the extra resolution is a revelation for any kind of creative work or productivity.

So this is a good price for this model but I'm not convinced it adds all that much of value, unless you REALLY like that stand / need thinner bezels.

That's where I bought it from
Great monitor bought 4 of these from novatech no issues. Also bought 2 of the cheaper 500 models, they look noticeably Dimmer and look way more budget. So depends what you value but both are great value. Stand on the 500 is much better. Stand on the 600 is basically to throw away and use a vesa mount. If you need a good stand get the 650.
yup another Novatech buyer here but i have a xbox one x on it righht now hmm but so far so good
+1 Novatech buyer. Pleased with this monitor.

This doesn't really have HDR, either. Anything that's HDR400 or less is entirely useless for HDR content. Even HDR600 isn't really a proper HDR experience.

Still seems like a great deal for everything else, though.
Great monitor for Xbox one X and PS4 Pro
I have the older model and it’s fab. Ordered this one to replace my PC monitor. Heat! Cheers
The 650 model had better colour accuracy if anyone is looking for a work related monitor, it is more expensive at £299.96, however.

Yeah you're probably referring to the one I have. Indoors in bulb light, it can get more than bright enough though. It is noticeably more vibrant than the VA panel I have next to it. It's the true value 4K option from LG I think. No extraneous features, just a good basic feature set.

Tali struggling to justify the 600. Agree with you, go up to 650.

Same panel as the 600 only difference is the stand. So has identical screen. Will be no difference at all

This is why researching monitor models is so important nowadays. The extra one has to pay for 600 / 650 variants of these LG 4K models is not necessarily offset by desirable features. None of them are bad though. It's more frustrating that cheap 4K models didn't appear sooner, I remember in the early 00s having to stick with 1024x768 for so long while 16:10 displays were the new hotness and crazy expensive...
Looks like this has been the normal novatech price for months. I got excited at the thought of a price drop and almost bought 2!
What's the difference between this and the 550 model at eBuyer?
Been using this for my Xbox one X and Ps4 Pro for a while now.

HDR is best turned off, as HDR 400 is just not good enough.

But picture quality itself, is superb.
