Seems to be a decent deal for a decent tv.

This is currently at the lowest price it has ever been at:

In stock on January 7, 2017.

HD ready, so only 1366x768, if anyone was thinking of using it for a monitor.

I bought one of these for this price from Amazon on black friday, it's a good TV, picture quality is very good as you'd expect from a 2016 model. One slight irritation is it doesn't do YouTube despite it saying it does in the advert. Lots of ways around this though.

I have voted HOT for the price, but i think it should be a crime to sell a 720p TV in 2016. Absolutely ridiculous when companies just want to milk customers who don't know the tech
And its not only LG, its all big shots including Samsung and Sony. Ridiculous

Ludicrous, imagine selling a TV designed to display the vast majority of broadcast programmes in native resolution. Much better idea to buy a 4k TV and pray it will be compatible with the programme standard, assuming you have access to 4k video.

I agree. Isn't it pretty much accepted that on a sub-32 inch tv 720p will look much the same as any other resolution? This seems to be a great deal.

It doesn't look the same. get a 720p and a 1080p TV and play 1080p content on both and see the difference.

Sat 6' away most people can't tell the difference on small TVs.

Slight over reaction, wether its 1080p or 720p on a 28" TV, It really won't make a differene unless you are sat less than 8" away from the TV. http://icdn9.digitaltrends.com/image/720vs1080-625x1000.png

For me it makes a difference as i use it both for gaming and as a monitor, so sitting desk distance apart, it makes a difference.

can you put kodi on this ?

Most people don't need a TV for that purpose tho, so for your specific needs you'll prob have to fork out a bit more

No, WebOS has Plex but not Kodi. You probably want a Sony Smart TV as they normally run Android.

I think this was briefly £118, but this is still a great price.

Phillips TV's arn't made by Phillips themselves. Their quality in TV's is pretty poor, I had to return one of their TV's as their picture quality was pretty poor in my opinion. I would steer clear. ( I bought one of their heigher end 4K screens).

well i bought a 32" full hd etc etc with android and the picture is amazing even from obscure angles, the android part on it is brilliant too. i dont have any £2k tvs to compare it to but we have lots of big name tvs in this house and its picture is better than some and equal to others costing way more, its an option if you prefer android to webos i guess

I see that some options of this model number say it has Freesat built in , does anyone know if this one has Freesat please?

I bought on Amazon during Black Friday 32 inch full hd monitor from Samsung for £150.00. So this is not really a deal. It is VA panel with 3000:1 contrast so much better than IPS which can only reach up to 1000:1. Blacks and colours are much better.
