29" Ultrawide monitor I seen when researching my new monitor.
Seems to be cheapest price around - Amazon seem to have price matched it but they have no stock.

Possibly £230.97 with discount code.

Change that 1080 to a 1440, then that's a good deal, this monitor ain't even 144hz.

Yeah think the description is slightly off with 'gaming monitor' (copied from the site). It's more for the ultrawide aspect makes it a 'gaming monitor' rather than refresh rate, it's IPS not TN too so a slower response rate.
Can't find it any cheaper but if you have any suggestions throw it in there.

I was looking for a monitor (posted deals for this one and a Benq XR3501 £399.99 (duplicate post)), Both these resolutions were a little low for me (Previously had a Asus PB287Q) settled on a LG 34UC88 (Which was £549.99 at laptopsdirect not including the which £20 discount code, they have bumped it up to £599.99).

The 2560x1440's you posted look a good bit of monitor for sub £200 price, well specced at the price.
Gone the LG ultra wide route as I am a casual gamer and think it's a bit of an all rounder.

More than gaming, I would love to see movies like django, and other true cinema format movies on a borderless view, so thats win for you there 21:9 movies are litterally the best experience, even better on a ultrawide.

Hi Hamzah, you seem to have good knowledge on monitor, perhaps you can help me out. my rig is i7 4770k with gtx 780 (bit lower spec than gtx 970) and I love to play various games (include fps but just casual gamer) but love to see nice colours on the monitor (e.g. for movies)

basically in torn between 3 options:
1. this unbelievably cheap lg 29" ultrawide curved (!) ips. IMHO, 1080 on this is fine because it's less tall than 24". however, I'm not to sure the performance of game on this monitor, it seems to have high input lag and I don't know how important gsync on this monitor. will I get screen tear? will it be annoying to play games? Racing game would be the desire for ultra wide screen but it will me meaningless if high input lag ruin the game?

2. Should I go for more expensive 27-28"(sadly non ultrawide) monitor such as Asus rog or acer predator which has gsync,2k/1440, tn and low input lag BUT more than double the cost than this? The issue that I have with them is I fall in love with the idea of ultrawide and ips but these monitors is not any of those and well known for bad qc (ghosting, blb, and crack lines).

3. Benq gaming Monitors which most certain would be tn, often without gsync. This brand well known for gaming purposes but I lose all the features that I like as it won't be: ultra wide, curved, ips, and gsync (big sigh!)

Any thoughts which one I should go for? And what's the reason?

is the "which?" deal still on? I can't see it on mobile at least

Thanks, forgot about that!

Can anybody who is still subscribed to this thread and who bought one of these let me know what you think of it. It has unfortunately increased in price (no longer available at Laptops Direct but elsewhere) since this deal, but was curious how it fairs if anybody is using it for gaming? Thanks.
