Have been keeping an eye on this TV and this price is lowest I have seen it - probably due to newer full HD models in the LG range but still a very good budget TV for those who cant afford all the bells and whistles. Hope it helps some others who are looking for a decent sub £200 TV which is a good make.

This price in Asda too! Was looking at them at tea time...
Thanks Stato - saw the Asda one too but with delivery charge. I guess if you can find in store then good too but I never seem to find them where I live
Seen them in Oldham Asda Living if it is of any help. Not likely to run out of them anytime soon as they must have had at least 20 of them stacked by the door and more upstairs too.
Thanks stato - bit far for me though but might help others here
good price for a good tv, hot!
Am I missing something? Non HD "720p" 32" LCD for £200? That's awful!

You had a 32" 3D LED 1080p TV last week for the same price! THAT'S a deal! Cold from me.

There is a common misconception that a 'Full HD' (1080p) TV will automatically offer good picture quality, & better picture quality than an 'HD Ready' (720p / 768p) TV. This is not true.

Picture quality depends on Panel & Processor & Video Processing Firmware specification. A good Panel matched to a poor Processor will result in poor picture quality. A poor Panel matched to a good Processor will result in poor picture quality.

A good 720p or 768p Panel matched to a good Processor can outperform a poor 1080p Panel matched to a poor Processor. Do not associate 1080p specification with high performance. It is not guaranteed, e.g.

I have this LG tv and I am very happy with the quality. I paid with TCB from Dixons £165 some 10 months ago.
£230 at RicherSounds but won't they match this price and give you a fiver as well? Plus only 10% extra for that 5 year warranty.

richersounds.com/sho…tml

Edit: Scratch that, just seen this in their T&C's

• Price Beat on TVs applies after adding the price of our 5 year warranty to our price, and the competitor's equivalent 5 year warranty to their price.

Still applies if you go for the 5 year warranty but prefer RicherSounds' warranty...

I bought this t v for £219 in january from sainsburys. Very pleased with it, great sound. Just got hd freeview.box and picture is amazing, very vibrant picture, far better than other budget tvs I have in the kitchen/bedroom. Viewing angle is good. Media player is good too, though doesn't record, I only listen to music in my lounge now on this and bonus is you can turn screen off to save power. Don't listen to all the "it's not full hd" naysayers, only blu ray is full hd only and at 32in you won't be able to tell difference. Other downside is only 2 hdmi but I've only got 2 hdmi devices anyway.
The problem with Richer Sound price match is that the price must include the 5 years warranty, so they will only price match the Amazon £199 + Amazon 5 years warranty
Dooper is absolutely spot on.
I am bored of clueless idiots coming on here and voting cold or giving out their wrong opinions on panel resolution. Do us all a favour, go and educate yourselves before you come here and dismiss something for being 720p instead of 1080p. Or reserve your misguided opinions for something you actually know about like licking windows or smacking the back of your head.
LOL @ Eebobobo comments...
Good spot OP - seems like I can have a large screen in all the rooms now!
Oh gawd it's not QXGA (2048 x 1536)... cold!

Great value screen to be honest as commented above. Heat & rep.
Whats HDCP, my apple tv playing netflix has come up with this message..... might need a new tv. ;-)

I also have this telly. Very pleased with it. The media player in it is excellent. I only use it for Freeview and the media player so Full HD not essential for my viewing.
Give it a couple of months and they'll be selling these inferior tv's off at around 150.
If they do, I'll buy another.
