It's been cheaper, not gonna lie, but a £199 TV with a 6 year guarantee spells win to me.
3482454.jpgGet a super-sharp picture and one of the best Smart TV systems in the business.

Full HD with Dynamic Colour Enhancer for vivid picture quality
Featuring 1080p Full HD screen resolution, the LG gets the very best from HD TV and Blu-ray. Super-sharp detail also means you can sit closer to the TV without loss of clarity. Taking the picture to the next level, Dynamic Colour Enhancer uses advanced processing to adjust the colours for richer, more lifelike realism.

Get the very best picture with Active HDR
Although only a 2K (1080p) TV, this LG 32 inch TV still benefits from Active HDR. Active HDR creates stunning detail and contrast with each and every scene. The LG includes multi-HDR format support, including HDR10 and HLG. HDR10 is widely used on UHD gaming consoles from Sony and Microsoft. HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma HDR) is a broadcast and user generated standard format that is set to become the standard for transmitting 4K signals.

Power at its core - Quad Core processor
At the heart of this LG is a powerful and precise quad core processor that offers seamless smart TV operation and powerful picture processing.

Dolby Audio and Virtual Surround Plus
With Dolby Audio on board you’ll experience richer and clearer sound. Select the Virtual Surround Plus feature and you’ll get a more spacious sound, with sound effects coming from all directions. For even better sound, simply add a soundbar or base, using the digital optical output or HDMI with ARC (Audio Return Channel).

webOS - the critics' choice
Widely acclaimed as one of the best smart TV interfaces, LG's latest webOS operating system is more refined than ever. WebOS uses superimposed icons, folders and side bars for clear and easy access to smart content without leaving the current screen image.

All your favourite apps
The LG comes packed with useful apps that look great on the big screen. Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and all main UK channels are covered, plus there’s access to Now TV and the Sky Store. A full Internet browser lets you access other sites and view them on the big screen.

Freeview Play makes catch-up TV easy
Find programmes from BBC iPlayer, the ITV Hub, All4 and Demand 5 sitting alongside over 60TV Channels and up to 15 HD channels. Simply scroll back in your TV guide to watch shows you missed from the last 7 days. Just make sure your TV is connected to the Internet and you're good to go.

Hot for warranty!

Thanks man, yeah, been cheaper, but you can't beat that RS warranty, 6 years is ridiculous on something so budget

I agree, and I will go with this any time rather than saving £10-20 somewhere else. Wonder if this breaks, they can't fix it and they can't get another one, what they will give you at similar specs. Hopefully a Sony or Samsung, I don't think they will dare to replace it with a Vestel. Still hoping my 50 inch Samsung will give up, as I still have warranty with them, maybe they will give me a better specs one now

Highly recommended these 6300 TV's, 43" in Argos if bigger one needed.
Anyone got one of these love to know your thoughts on it?
Great tv. Have two in the household. Great picture and os. Had a Toshiba which was repaired 3 times in 6 months and was slow with poor picture quality. Returned for refund and bought this.

I also purchased from Richer Sound.

I have this, bought from JL about a year back for £250'ish. Use it as a monitor at least 8 hours a day, and though some folks may say 1080p is not good enough for a 32 inch screen to be used as a monitor, I have no issues at all. Watch TV on it as well when I'm not working. I have the version with the white bezel. LG updates the Smart apps quite regularly, have all the main apps including Now TV and Disney Plus was added recently. £199 is a decent deal with the RS guarantee.

My only reservation would be if you had another £50 you could be looking at a 43-inch 4K panel but probably won't be an LG or Samsung.

The John Lewis model is not the same as the one in Currys and Richer Sound. These have better resolution although similar spec.

The one I had from JL is definitely 1080p, it's not too difficult to check the resolution on a computer. The 32LM630BPLA however is only HD- ready though.

Just saying that the John Lewis one is 1366x768 and this one is 1920x1080.
I got one via Richer Sounds a few weeks ago. They quickly dealt with some queries I had beforehand. Mine replaced an old 26” non-smart Sony and I only wanted this size, especially as it has a satellite socket/setup as well as terrestrial. Just right for me (dodgy reception here sometimes). To date it’s been faultless. Clear picture and sound. A little tinny at times but it’s in a smallish room so fine really. I’d get a soundbar if I wanted more bass. Poor user guide included but it mainly sorted itself out and I pressed buttons on the remote til I worked out what they all did - they’re not apparent! Even works with my Alexa stuff (download the basic skill app, not the ‘complete’ one). Some reviewers say it’s a slow tv but it’s on a par with and not quite as weird at times than my bigger smart Sony tv.

This is the 1080p one I bought last year. Almost identical to this year's model. You're referring to a 720p one.

I made this mistake accidently....
Nice deal, Switchy
I'm very tempted by this set. Usually , Richer Sounds will apply a £10 VIP discount if you can order in person/phone? I'm not sure whether such arrangements are in place at this point though. Heat added.

Update:I have ordered this tv online so didn't manage to obtain the £10 discount. Went through TCB at 2% discount and used my amex cash back card which is currently generating 0.5%. So this take the price to around £194 which is a good deal in my opinion.

The 43" in argos never seems to go down in price!

My LG doesn't have Apple TV yet unfortunately, I think they only do Samsung's as far as I know.

Thanks
Very tempted as my supermarket bought 32” Sony from more than 10 years ago is just starting to have issues with handset buttons not working. I bought all my kids the 32” 1080p medion smart tv for £130 each but they don’t do them any more and there is no disney plus on them so this looks the best choice for my bedroom. Are there any equivalent 40”/4k models for a bit more worth considering that has disney plus app?
Does this have Netflix?
