Is it a good idea to use this as a computer monitor too !??
Any advice as i need a monitor -but wondering whether to spend the extra and get bigger and a tv into the bargain !!??
Please advise anyone ??
Thanks

Personally I don't think so, simply because an HDTV is designed to be used sitting further back plus the resolution on them is far lower than computer monitors. That's just my personal opinion though, my younger brother likes using my HDTV as a monitor when he's visiting, I generally just hook up the PC for watching video, viewing pictres or similar.

hmmm an offer ending in 97 is usually quite a rare offer indeed.

it states it is available for home delievry or store pickup yet when you go to checkout, no home delivery option is available and there are none for store pick up.

some people may get lucky as there are normally at least 1 or 2 left somewhere in the country, at least it gives people a clue to try and find a cheapish tv.

I phoned up Pcworld about this 2 weeks ago and there were none in stock anywhere in the UK.

Not for me it isn't - entered my postcode and only gives collect at store option, and none available in stores.

Oops think I made a mistake sorry

Is this as good a deal as the 32" Samsung LE32R87BDX posted recently please?

Not a lot of difference in the price, but the resolution looks higher.

Not as good a deal! The sammy was a much better set. The res on the two sets were the same however. I've recently had a bad experience with LG I jumped on the 27" LCD here recently for £265. I am now sending it back as it is utter crud. Time to get my wallet out and get a Panasonic TX32LXD70 top of the range 32" for £600. I really think you get what you pay for when you get an LCD.
