Not sure if this will go cold as it's only a 1080p TV, but if you really do need a small TV it's hard to find a 4K one less than 40 inches these days.
I couldn't go above 32 inches given size constraints, so had a good look at available deals for 1080p Smart TVs. There aren't many and most branded sets are above this price.

This is a 2018 model and comes with Freeview HD, Freeview Play, Freesat HD, full WebOS smart functions (all TV players, Netflix, Amazon Video, YouTube etc) and Google Assistant built in (though you need to buy a Magic Remote separately for that). Not many reviews out yet as it's a new model. I wouldn't take the 'HDR' very seriously.

If you don't need the 5y JL guarantee, the equivalent black model is available for £219 delivered at Currys as a part of their BF specials.

Thought HDR was only in 4k

Nope, PS4 and Xbox will both happily output HDR at 1080
They do the same one but in grey in Currys for £225.

I would have preferred this colour to be honest and the extra warranty but was OOS at the time.
Ordered this on Saturday. The integrated Freesat HD tuner was the clincher for me

Currys have gone down to £219 both online (link in OP) as well as on their ebay shop, personally I found the extra 4 years peace of mind for £30 extra a good deal, and thankfully it was in stock at JL with this reduction.
Surely John Lewis will price match Curry's on request?

I'm not sure. They specify that all parameters including model number and colour should be identical. In this case, neither is as the colour is different and consequently the model no. I purchased from JL as I thought the extra £30 was a good price for the warranty.
I went with the Currys £219 and 10% Quidco cashback on Friday. Good price this though.
If you haven't seen this TV yet, i think it is FUGLY compared to others at this size and price. It has a really large plastic bezel and looks really cheap. Picture quality seems reasonable, but not massive difference to the other 1080s at this price point such as the toshiba and samsung sets.
It might look better in black but IMHO the white plastic looks cheap and tacky. Everything of course is personal preference and taste, but im glad i went to the store to purchase as seeing it put me off.

Shame as it is a good spec and great quality screen for the price especially at 219 from Currys.
