One of the best full HD 32 inch TV is back on sale. I know you can get full HD 32 inch JVC or Toshiba cheaper, but this one is a TV, the others are not, trust me. I also know you can get better value if you get a 40+ inch TV, but this is for those who want 32 inch and have no space for bigger ones.

Key Features

Boost your viewing experience

Give your favourite movies and box sets a new lease of life with the LG 32LM6300PLA 32" Smart Full HD HDR LED TV.

With Active HDR technology, the TV delivers pinpoint detail by remastering each scene as you watch. That means you'll see the brightest and darkest shades in the same image, and still notice the most subtle differences in colour. Whether you're catching up with soaps or following your team in league, everything you watch appears vibrant and sharp.

Thanks, even better at Currys: Free 6 month Spotify Premium subscription for new Premium accounts only when purchasing this product.
Just set up one of these, new in a damaged box, from Curry's Clearance on eBay. Was just under this price (they took 10% off the then £218 sale price for the damage), but you could apply the 20% off code, so ended up sub £160.

The box was crushed\torn a little around the carry handles, TV was all protected and accessory bags sealed. Seems very good (already have a 28" version from a few years back which is still going strong, so knew what to expect from LG) and it came with the normal 1 year warranty. Have to assume they would mark 10% off this new price for damaged boxes, so might be worth looking out on Curry's Clearance if you wanted to save some more.

Really painful experience for me with the damaged boxes TVs from Currys ebay. I've got my JVC damaged box from them. Broke after 31 days, got in touch with them and they told me only the 'pristine items' come with 1 year warranty, this had only 30 days warranty, so basically 1 day too late. Did my research and found out the warranty was 1 year, so in case if you have any problems make sure they don't trick you. Changed the TV with another one damaged box, lasted 2 months, developed a million faults. Changed with a Toshiba damaged box, came smashed. Replaced with another damaged box Toshiba, same story, they can't even pack things.
Eventually I gave up and decided to go with a more serious brand so paid more and got a Samsung instead from somewhere else. Took me a month to get my money back from Currys ebay, also wasted 8 days in total for the driver to pick up the damaged item and bring the replacement....all mine were damaged box. They asked for pictures but still they cannot deliver at the same time when the driver collects the broken item...
By the way, £160 is an absolute bargain!

Figured the LG should be way more reliable than a generic JVC\Toshiba\Panasonic\Sharp etc. Have been disappointed until now at the seemly small price difference between these smaller (mostly 720p) sets and a larger 40" 4K one!

Normally I'd pay the extra 10% for totally undamaged (and then preferably not from Curry's) but as it was only the box, it was an LG set, the code only applied to Curry's Clearance (making the discount too good), I caved

Will keep my fingers crossed everything stays trouble free.

The price is great for this TV, difficult to stay away when is only £160.
I only wanted a cheap TV for the spare room. I had Vestel before, Accoustic Solutions, got it used and lasted me 9 years. So didn't have huge concerns to get a Vestel as a spare TV. However, the quality was shocking. The screen rattling at all of them, very flimsy, unsteady and so on. I will never get a Vestel after this experience regardless how cheap it is. Because of the time off I took off from work for collection and deliveries, I lost money, so £152 I've paid for it turned up way more expensive.
It seems that apart from LG, Samsung and Sony, you can't get a decent TV anymore. Shame as JVC, Sharp, Toshiba, Akai, Philips and especially Panasonic were great brands once and LG and Samsung were nowhere near as good. Things have changed now. I can't believe Panasonic outsourced their TVs to Vestel.
The LG stood out against the generics; I was tempted for a while by them, but with only 1 year guarantee it was nagging.

House of Samsung, Sony and LG here, with the most used TV, a Samsung, at 8+ years now (only put into retirement last year in the kitchen from the lounge, to make way for a bigger QLED) it has gone well past its 5 year warranty.
Anyone knows if Currys instore offers same 5 yrs warranty free as JL or RS?

As far as I know Currys only gives 1 year warranty. There may be a possibility to pay for extended warranty. However, under the EU regulations (If these will still apply once Brexit takes place I don't know) the warranty should be for minimum 24 months, so you should be safe for 2 years at least. Never mind if anything happens after 1 year but before 2 years they will try to convince you is only 1 year, but ignore them and quote EU legislation.
I got an Amazon Warehouse 32" Sony during black friday when they were offering 20% discount. The tv was for 185 and worked out at 150. However after 1 month the tv has developed a fault where it is stuck in standby and changing remote battery or using buttons at the rear of the tv is not getting it out of that mode.

Glad they had extended the returns till 31st Jan and now I am considering either getting it repaired or return. Inclined more towards return as dont think a month one old tv should develop a fault

I will definetely return it, ask for the money back and get this one instead. Shame, Sony should make decent TVs. My TVs I've returned (Vestel) had the buttons at the rear too. A pain to reach them when TV froze, which happened often, so had to switch from main plug, together with other appliances I had.
strange that this TV is not found in the market other than currys. cannot find at major retailers like JL, RicherSound, Crampton&Moore, Amazon etc

Some TVs are exclusive for Currys. If you search for a JVC TV (you better not ) only Currys sells them. Perhaps this is the case with this model. If you go on Currys site, I think they may tell you this is exclusively from them. This way they do not have to do a price match
Smart remote is still £25 at Argos if you can find stock

Now is not available. While the price is great for the damaged box one, I only had problems with mine (different brand, damaged box). I don't think they check what it is in the box, mine came twice smashed. I don't know if it is them or the courier. Bottom line is I had 3 TVs replaced, all damaged box with various cosmetic defects. While in one case the TV was functional, it developed 8 different faults within a month (you probably cant even think a TV can develop so many faults) and one of the reason I believe these happened were because maybe they were dropped.
Replacement is a pain. You have to send pictures, they arrange collection first and after they receive it, they arrange delivery. The courier either does not come at the time suggested or does not come in the agreed day. I've wasted 6 days for their collection and replacement, luckily I work a lot from home, otherwise I don't think I would have managed to get time off from work. The refund took a while after I sent several emails. Moreover, they tried to trick me, suggesting the warranty is 12 months on pristine condition items, while this was classed as not pristine because of the box. They suggested the warranty is only 1 month, despite the fact the description was 'brand new, sealed in damaged box'....
Can anyone that owns this tell me if its possible to turn the wifi/bluetooth off in the settings please?

Lucky you, out of my 3 TVs damaged box, 2 of them came completely smashed, while the 3rd one did not last more than a month. Did not buy 3 TVs, 2 of them were replacements for the first one.
Hi.What's the code to use on this or currys main website? Thanks

I don't think there is a code at this time for eBay or Currys but you can do a search on Google, you may find one. If you wait for the code to come, more than likely they will put the price up, so even with the code, you will pay more or the same.
I suggest to do a search on Currys eBay, they often have brand new TVs in damaged box cheaper. Same T&C with regards to warranty. You may be lucky to find this one at a better price, but £199 is really good for this TV. Check Currys Clearance on eBay too, you may be in luck.
