Probably the best price at the moment for a 32 inch full HD non Vestel. Got some heat last month for £20 more.

If you look for a 32 inch 4k, stop looking, as they do not exist. But you can get a monitor instead

I agree the bigger ones are better value, but if you need a 32 inch, bigger does not means better. Good brand, good reviews. If not happy, can be returned up until 14th Jan. Ignore the 1 year warranty, under the EU regulation, it will be minimum 2 years (unless we're not part of The EU anymore).

Give your favourite movies and box sets a new lease of life with the LG 32LM6300PLA 32" Smart Full HD HDR LED TV.

With Active HDR technology, the TV delivers pinpoint detail by remastering each scene as you watch. That means you'll see the brightest and darkest shades in the same image, and still notice the most subtle differences in colour. Whether you're catching up with soaps or following your team in league, everything you watch appears vibrant and sharp.

Endless entertainment

Never run out of shows and movies to watch. With webOS, there's something to keep the whole family entertained. Binge through the shows everyone's talking about on Netflix and Amazon Prime, discover new music with Spotify or even download games.

And with Freeview Play, you get instant access to the past seven days of TV shows on BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and loads more.

Virtual Surround Sound

When you're watching the latest blockbuster or the big match, you want big sound to match the great picture. The LG LM6300 features Virtual Surround Sound technology, which creates virtual audio channels to give you a more immersive viewing experience.

I've got the 2018 6200 version of this and it's a great TV. Would definitely recommend.

BTW, don't think the one in John Lewis is the same one, the model number is slightly different and it's only 720p as opposed to 1080p.

There are 2 or 3 models, sometimes coming on sale for £199, but I think only one is full HD. However, the others are perfectly reasonable considering HDR and small size.
THe only reason I've not got this one and paid about £30 for a Samsung was I wanted a stand in the middle. At the end it didnt matter, as I put it on the wall

Still some are voting cold, they don't understand if you want a 32 inch, paying just slightly more for a 40-43 inch will not make it better value. This is a good price indeed.

I found these two models, didn't know there were more:

lg.com/uk/tvs/lg-32LM6300PLA

lg.com/uk/tvs/lg-32LM630BPLA

Other than screen resolution, they seem fairly identical.

I like to think that I can tell the difference between 720p and 1080p and I won't be having folks tell me I'm wrong. I'm happy believing it so there

Quite a few relatively similar

These ones too: lg.com/uk/…PLD

I think you can tell the difference, but probably if you know already it is or is not a full hd . My Accoustic Solution (Vestel made), over 10 years old and 720p had better picture than the JVC/Toshiba I've got, which were new models and full HD.

I think this was £200 in July. I was looking to get it but didn't come back on sale, so eventually got a Samsung instead.

Really pleased with it. It replaced a 32" technika and is much lighter and slimmer.
The smart menus and apps work very smoothly. I'm also using the built in freesat which also works well.
Could of got a 43" 4K tv for the price but I didn't want to go bigger than 32"
This or the Philips 32PFS5803 on amazon for £179?

It seems you found a cheaper full HD :). My personal opinion is not to go for the Philips one. It is a Vestel. I had JVC and a month later replaced by Toshiba, again a few weeks later replaced again by Toshiba. Both 'brands' are made by Vestel and identical look. Had only problems with them, none of them lasted more than a month. Shocking quality. Can't tell you about the Philips, the price is good, but after paying £150 for the ones above, decided to invest £75 more in a Samsung. I only wanted a cheap full HD for a spare room, ended up paying more, as I've got fed up with the Vestel ones, only troubles.

Yes, they will sort it out. In my case was from Currys. I got fed up calling them, writing to them, waiting for the driver to pick up the faulty one and waiting again for a new delivery. For some reasons they could not pick up and replace at the same time. So I had to get time off work 6 times. It was frustrating, this is why I paid more, didn't want the hassle.

I'm sorry, this is my personal opinion based on my experience. I really wanted a cheap TV for my spare room.
I really didn't want to pay more than £200 and for a small TV used only occasionally, but the experience was so frustrating I was very happy to pay more for a TV I don't even use.
It is a personal experience. I knew Vestel are not great, but was not expecting to be so bad, all 3 with the screens rattling. Also, identical apart from the brand, so I think the Philips one will be identical with these 2 as well.
It makes sense to pay less if you don't use it often, but having 3 Vestels in 3 months and all failing on me put me off so much I will not get one even if you give it to me for free.

The LG is great, also this Samsung for £217, may be a good choice. I prefer Samsung, but LG will do as well: ebay.co.uk/itm…9cb

It is quite a difficult choice. Do you want a very good TV as Sony, but not full HD, or a very decent LG TV full HD for almost the same price? I will make it more difficult for you now, this one is a really good one for £217, 'thank' me later

Me personally I would have gone with the refurbished Sony for £148.

Ordered this at the weekend with the Nest mini, but have 8% discount through work benefits, so a little cheaper than this. Really looking forward to getting it, seems like the best 32” TV, will go perfectly in front of my treadmill.

Make sure it does not stay in the box on the treadmill, as I did with ours. Now on the wall, but still can't use the treadmill as I have other boxes on it, what a poor excuse

My treadmill keeps breaking down, but when it's working it gets a lot of use, it's not the typical clothes rack most become.
I got a great misprice match on this at Currys a couple of weeks back for £189 and for that price it is superb. I would recommend getting a magic remote as it's far better than the one supplied.

Damn, I realised now the TV is what is missing for me to start using it (y). Ours was used too, but it broke and took us a week to get another one. That week was a bit too much of a break, we've used the new one probably 3 times in 3 years

If you want a decent 32" 1080p TV there seems only 3 options atm - This one, the Samsung and the Sony, the last one being the most expensive.
Nice to be around some fellow 1080p 32 inchers, we're basically an ethnic minority these days.People who tell me to just get a 43" just don't understand what it's like to be so close to a TV in a smaller space.

Absolutely my point. Yes, I know you can get a full hd Toshiba 43 inches for £199, so cheaper than this, or a 43 inch Toshiba 4k for £229, which is clearly better value. But if you only have space for 32 inch, that will not be a better deal. Sadly, if you want decent 32 inch TVs, the price is quite high in comparison with bigger TV. You can find cheap ones, but very basic and quite old technology.
As mine has gone in the loft until xmas, can anyone test a portable USB drive on this TV to see if the USB port provides sufficient power? I'd like to use at least a 2TB 2.5" self-powered USB drive if I can.
