for this size, 1080p is a bit low in my opinion

But you are aware it isn't higher than usual 24" screen ( mostly 1080p) right? Oh.. And p.s. voting is about price, not your personal preferences, just saying

Hot from me. Just sold my old 29" for just 100 les. £300 for bigger and new is a nice price.

The 2560 x 1080 across 34” will make the PPI very similar to 1920 x 1080 at 27” which in my opinion is fine - not ideal (I think the sweet spot is 24” for 1080p at 16:9) but this is still going to be a beautiful screen. Heat added.
It’s about time monitors started to improve from 1080 resolution, there’s a lot of 4K content out there to be enjoyed :-)

Nice little monitor. Its equivalent to a 27" 16:9 btw. I've had mine for about a year and a half and the only thing I miss is 144hz. Heat for the price
Had this for around 18 Months. Beautiful picture with accurate & vibrant colours. Excellent for productivity & superb for games that support ultrawide. Just make sure you have enough desk space as it's very wide !!! ....

I have a 24 inch 4K monitor and by far I prefer my 1080p 144hz, simply because actually 4K is just not worth it on a smaller display. Yeah it's nicer and all but for the extra price? I'd argue stick with 1080p
I have the smaller version and it’s a brilliant monitor, can’t see me ever going back from an ultrawide.
