Not Full HD (1080p) but still a nice price for a Plasma.

So can this play movies through the USB or not?

I'm considering one of these but not sure about the plasma Vs LCD thing. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.

If you're in a room with high ambient lighting I'd go for an LCD, as plasma screens can be quite reflective.

If you're not I'd go for a plasma every time.

Do your own research, Google is your friend, HotUKDeals is for bargains not technical information

Good deal for a huge plasma TV. As others said though this is 780p not 1080p. Cheap way to get an impressive looking TV though.

:w00t: I'm seriously asking that question, but I do take the other point about Google, I'll look there.

720p

Technically it's 768p, but that's just me being a pedant

It's 768p but with only 1024 pixels horizontally, so the very minimum 768p spec.

This is a reasonable intro which.co.uk/rev…tv/ This is a good place to ask questions about plasmas avforums.com/for…vs/

I think we'll get a lot of TV bargains over the next year as many people are going to want built in Freeview HD.

Thanks for the above. This site was quite good too: plasmaorlcd.co.uk/myt…spx

I bought this TV last week. Happy with it so far. Claims it plays DivX in the description but it doesn't.
