Hi
Thanks for posting. And welcome to HUKD.
It is good practice to also add the merchant and price to the title. It helps people who are just browsing through. And in my experience your post will get a few more “hot” votes.
Emmajk42 / Juliet_Bravo wrote a couple of very comprehensive and excellent guides for newcomers to HUKD here: - hotukdeals.com/ite…ne/

They are well worth taking a look at.
Again, thanks for posting, and welcome to HUKD.
Kind regards Andy

very poor resolution (1024*768) for a tv that size!

Or maybe not, see below from crofter - you learn something new everyday

oh please do you even know what you are talking about ... that is the normal resolution for a 720p PLASMA TV as the pixels are rectangular instead of square.

Nice price for a 42!

Great price with the discounts, subscribing to thread http://i34.tinypic.com/23lhx8z.gif:lol:

Checked out some reviews and all sounds good - for this price it seems excellent even if it's not perfect!! I have ordered one. Great for people on a tight budget like myself. Thanks OP.

At £120 a month for the next three months, a tight budget is nothing!

I got it down to £387.60.....inc delivery.........which in my opion is a cracking price for a 42 inch plasma...........and don't worry about 1024x768......i'm watching my philips 42 on 1024x768....and its a cracking picture SD and HD..........so anyone looking for a Tv this is a HOT deal........3 HDMI sockets as well ....and the way things are going you'll need em.........HOT.......

I bought the 42AV635DB from Amazon via a 3rd party reseller (B-stock unit for 466).

It is one heck of a TV for the price. No regrets here. Moreover, it is 1080p!

Be careful with additions direct vouchers. Make sure you are 100% eligible to use them otherwise you'll be paying back the difference later on if you're not.

For the price, its a very good deal.

Which magazine only give it 53%, and it makes the magazine but not in the top 10, although 3 of that top 10 are over £2,000 each, youch.

It (Which ) says it does not have 1080p, and its quality of both SD and HD picture is rated at 3 stars out of 5; sound quality is better than most, ease of use 2 stars is worse than most.

Price as per Which was £580 so the discount against that is excellent.

how do you get it to the stated £357 ???

I so want your avatar!!

be careful using the promotional code- read the terms and conditions at their web site. hot deal if u can get at this price and if they authorise at this price- but initially they will take all your money then they will refund the discounts, but they do state that the promotional code is non-transferable- and then it may turn nasty coz they already have your money in their hand.

if ppl do get it at the discount price and discounts fully refunded then let us know

hot deal

someone stated that they bought the 42PQ6000 but i cant see where that post has gone now, they said they paid £420 ish for it, anyone know where that was from as i cant find it anywhere near that price on web

Loads of people are having problems using these vouchers as they take the full amount then give you a refund, but some are not getting the refund, plus loads are having problems getting money out of quidco as the orders are not tracking so they will not pay up.

the person that said about the 42pq600 must have deleted there post on here, if your out there can you get in touch as im looking for the 6000 and at £420 thats a good price, but i dont know where you purchased it from - thanks in advance

I have the PQ6000, basically the same set but with nicer case and USB.

for a budget telly it is very nice and i am happy with it. it suffers from slight temporary image retention and doesnt have Kuru blacks, but is a very decent picture for the price.

the sound on the PQ6000 is amazing as well for built in speakers, but i think these may be better than on the 3000 as well.

id just like to know where the person bought the 6000 for £420 ????? the cheapest i can find it is £480 ish on amazon or £485 at Dixons

REXISMYDOG;6779795
