Yes, with a trivial remote hack.
No.

I'd rather spend a bit more for freeview hd, unless it's realy realy cheap.

Thats great. I don't understand why they don't provide this out of the box though.

These are really nice TVs. Only potential drawbacks are 2x HDMI's if you have more than 2 HDMI inputs (use an HDMI hub/splitter).

I really don't see the 'lack' of extras like built in Freeview HD as a loss.

I also don't really understand either why features like USB AVI playback is a hidden 'feature' that requires a hack -it's always been the same with DVD players.

It has been at this price before with codes I think on this site from time to time. About time it came down to the £300 mark

I had to replace a year or so old LCD LG TV of the same size with this model today and it was definitely a LOT lighter.

Hot for the good price and no fuss!

Excellent telly.

If you go have a look at the submission page, it's all 'Please don't paste specs, just describe it in your own words'. Not sure since when...

Not as far as I'm aware.

fair enough - cant think of a valid reason for not pasting specs though ....... its convenient and accurate (if taken from Mfr website) and I think its fair to say most people wont be prepared to write a description in their own words ........
