I'd opt for the Toshiba one that has been posted for around £588 personally
The Toshiba TV is 37" NOT 42" like this one. 5" makes all the diference!!!!!!:-D
Great Buy I've just got the 37" comes tomorrow "Wednesday" with all the discount codes and quidco only £572.00 and at full 1080p and a contrast ratio of 5000:1 it should be a good set.

It will look great for me as I have a 26" philips with a contrast of 600:1
anybody have this tv and can they say what standard def looks like on it?
I have this TV myself, I watch normal def sky through it and I think its a cracking picture. I payed £899 for the TV in December and thought it was well worth the money! My sister has just used this deal to buy one. She was looking at the 42" Toshiba but prefered the LG picture, hence I started searching for the LG and found this deal.
Call me a fussy monkey but if I pay out my cash, I want the best of the best for the money paid. I would have gone for this so I could watch Blu-ray flicks as they were meant to be displayed, through my PS3. Unfortunately, they judder on this telly as it can’t quite handle a 1080p 24 signal.

Voted hot for those who want it as is a good price.
