Product Information

For a sensational value 1080p 42 inch LCD TV, check out the LG 42LH3000.

With its 1080p Full HD resolution, the 42LH3000 is the perfect TV to complement your HD sources such as PS3 and Blu-ray player. The new Twin Engine offers faster, more accurate picture processing than ever before with some stunning results to show for it. Match a screen response time of just 5ms with a brightness of 500cd/m2 and stunning dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1 and it's clear to see that this is a TV that's anything but average. In short, whatever you're watching will be crisp and detailed with superb resolution and the ideal brightness.

As usual, we would always recommend using a separate home cinema system but if you're intent on using the LG's built-in sound system you might be pleasantly surprised. Using an invisible speaker system with Clear Voice II the 42LH3000 sounds crisp and precise. Furthermore, the SRS TruSurround system creates a spacious sound that avoids the typical TV boxiness.

In terms of connections, the 42LH3000 has everything you'd expect plus more besides. Twin rear-mounted HDMI (and one side-mounted) sockets allow for the connection of 3 High Definition sources, such as an HD-TV box, HD camcorder and Blu-ray. In addition to this, the 42LH3000 boasts twin SCART sockets and component connections for your analogue sources. Furthermore, the PC input makes this attractive TV the perfect complement to your home computer. Topping off the wide range of sockets is a digital optical sound output - ideal for connecting this LG 42 inch LCD TV to your home cinema for a useful upgrade in sound quality.

Featuring a gloss black surround and elegant stand, the 42LH3000 looks as good as it performs. Thanks to the latest technology, it's also Energy Saving Recommended. For a 42 inch 1080p LCD TV with an impressive spec and smooth, good looks, the 42LH3000 is hard to beat.

even if this is a old model because i dont know my tv models but very good price!!!!

very good price for a very good tele.

I have this TV now, paid about £550 for it 18 months ago, and its a cracker! really impressed with the quality. Can get a little motion blur on darker images, but then it is only 50hz. For £399.95 this is a great deal!

If you buy this or any other tv from this supplier, consider getting their extended warranty, a real bargain price for 4 extra years (think it's 10% of the cost of tv)

Having just completed a 70mile round trip to BUY (Not browse) an LG TV from these comedians, I advise anyone to think very carefully about using this company. They have lied over the phone about items in stock with the sole intention of getting you to their store (Romford) whereupon they do their utmost to sell you their top of the range G20 Panny, and refused to show me one of these 'Offers' telling me that they had no remotes or stands, and then actually laughed at my suggestion that an LG would serve my purpose well enough, telling me that I would need to replace it in TWO YEARS as technology will render my TV obsolete.

If that is the kind of advice/treatment that you enjoy then feel free. For my money, give me Tesco's, Comet, Curry's or anywhere BUT Richer Sounds.

Incidentally, this was the DUTY MANAGER that I was dealing with, who, if Richer sounds are at all concerned about their customers, should be given his marching orders immediately.

Remember I went to the shop to BUY a set and was rudely talked out of it. never again, thanks Julien.

Hi Rizla01

I was extremely sorry to read of the poor service you encountered on your visit to our Romford store and would like to take the opportunity to offer my sincere apologies.

I was disappointed to learn that you felt the duty manager was too pushy; indeed the last thing we want is to put pressure on any customer as to a particular product.

Of course our main focus should always be on the customers specific requirements and or budget, so I'm at a complete loss as to why my colleague handled your enquiry so badly!

Please be assured that I will take this up with the Romford store manager and the colleague concerned to investigate, both what has gone wrong on this occasion and, to take the appropriate action to prevent any similar reoccurrence again in the future.

If you are still interested in purchasing a TV from us, please contact me directly and I will do my best to sort out a good deal for you.

Once again, please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused, if I can be of any more help in the meantime please let me know.

Many Thanks

John Clayton

Well done John

Good to see someone that is prepared to listen to both sides. People in the trade tend to talk down lower end products. This could be cars, insurance or even tins of beans. I find the the Richer people in Middlesbrough great.
