In the marke for new smart tv either a an lg or samsung. what are the reviews like for this model?
Does this one report back your viewing to LG?
to the point, bad blacks and bad sound, not 3d and only 100hz maybe a little to much motion blur/lag, good price for a budget LG.

Does this one report back your viewing to LG?

more than likely, but LG have said they are going to issue a firmware update to fix the opt-out preferences, but when is still a mystery

Awful sound quality on this TV.
Wouldn't trust LG due to reporting your viewing data.

Go for a Sony or Panasonic TV!
SAMSUNG avoid 40" or bigger as they do panel lottery. More chance of bad screen and DSE panels.
what's all the fuss with LG reporting your viewing patterns, so what people. get a grip lol
LG not only recorded your viewing habits but also took a copy of all your file names from your USB sticks. If you opted-out it recorded the fact and then carried on invading your privacy.
