This has been around this price on Amazon and other sites for ages. Doubt it was ever £629 to be honest.
I think this offer is different, true, amazon gave 320 for LG42LS3400, but not for LG42LS345T. T mean than the offer from curry include freeview HD which not available on amazon (only freeview). I cant find LG42LS345T on amazon.correct me if Im wrong

That's because it's a specific model that they've had held back especially for boxing day sales, you won't find it anywhere else because the spec and model number will be slightly different, this is so you can't price match it with another retailers "sale" tv. However these "sale" tv's usually are hiding a glaring flaw, like someone might want to check if it's 50hz or 100hz as the website seems to contradict, it also looks horribly thick for an LED tv, that might not be a problem for everyone but I would have a look at it first.
Three weeks ago the 42LS3450 reached 600+ degrees when it was £329 at Amazon.

Yet this TV with the same housing and the same features plus the addition of Freeview HD is a bad deal?

Wow.
Set of numpty's, this is pretty hot!

A 42" LED HD Freeview TV, that's branded too (not a random make) for £329? Of course it's a good deal! Who cares if someone else has had a similar deal before, it doesn't mean that this isn't a good deal!
Great deal
Might be an exclusive deal, but then most of LG's range is exclusive to Currys, doesn't mean its a problem!
Just searching google for info on this offer. I have already reserved mine, going to pick it up in a few hours.

Seems like a really good deal.
probably never was 629. Damn fine price. just reserved mine. for a LED 42" 1080p LG u wont get a better price. i been looking for days
walked past Curry's this morning, saw the TV was LG, LED, saw the price went in and bought one straight away. Fixed on the wall within 10mins. As good A PICTURE as my other LG 47" LED TV.

No complaints from me, good buy
I just brought one. For £329 I wasn't expecting much, but I'm not a huge TV watcher or movie buff so I thought I'd give it a go.

It's easy to et sucked into bigger is better in the showroom. THe 42" looked small compared to a lot of the other 46" and 50"s. When I got it home and set up, the thing looks absolutely massive!! Glad I didn't go to 50"!

The thing is utterly amazing for the price. If you just watch a few movies and a bit of TV then it will more than suit your needs. The free HD channels are spot on, as is everything else. The sound won't blow a wall down tbh but it's perfectly adequate for most.
Has anyone done some HD gaming on this? (PS3/360/WII U). Is there noticable input lag? Good or bad??
hi guys, i bought one online and when i track it, the item name says "LG 42LS345T 42" HD Ready LED TV" where on the confirmation email from currys it says "LG - 42LS345T Full HD 42" LED TV" am i being paranoid? anyone can tell me if it is full or HD or jus HD ready?

many thanks

is it full hd? thanks
Thanks gonna watch this thread ... need a tv but too much confusion!!!!! (_;)
Yes this is full HD (1080p) and has a Freeview HD tuner.
Is it 50Hz or 100Hz? I'm looking for 100Hz and that would be the deciding factor between this tv and the 42LS3400. They seem to be the same tv except this has Freeview HD?
hi can any one tell me if this tv has now and next program on it
I bought lg 42ls 3450 from argos two weeks ago. Good tv but aint sure if its 50hz or 100hz. It advertised at 100 but no ones got clue, sainsburys littlewoods and even lg website say 100hz but it bit blurry on sport and few shadows, dont know if its gettin used to larger screen. Argos advertised it as 3400 and gave me 3450. So im realy stuck as to the features, ar lg say its a 720 res and the box says 1080. Anyone know?
The LG 42LS575t is 100hz has smart tv and built in wifi with 4 hdmi for £100 more.

OPs posted tv isnt true 100hz.
Hi, just got this tv all set up and was very happy untill i came across a HUGE flaw! The TV has no audio output at all, no optical, no ARC and not even a headphone socket so there is no way this will work with my surround sound when using the built in tuner. Very poor

And three years later... not true: audio out is via the scart connector - likely scart to phono/RCA, possibly via a switched scart adapter. Standard practice, and has been for some time in excess of 3 years
