I know it's not 1080P, but still a great price for a TV of this specification.

Excellent TV. Bought this for my inlaws & very pleased with it. I purchased it from Richer sounds (still available for the same price £349) as you can get a five year warranty for £35.

Just ordered for pick up tomorrow. ThanksX)

You're welcome!

Comet are also doing the warranty on this TV 5 years for the price of 3 years. So you can pay four payments of £26.25 (quarterly by direct debit) and be covered for 5 years - including wear and tear and mishaps. Something to consider.

Hope you're happy with the TV!

This is only a 720 telly so resolution is not amazing. The John Lewis Sony 40" is better value as you get a 1080P telly with internet streaming and a 5 year warranty for an extra £50

Just picked up one of these now. Bloody excellent telly in my opinion. I already have an LCD 1080P Samsung set, but the picture on this one beats it easily.

Sold my old 50" 1080p Samsung Plasma as i'd gotten a 50" 3DTV downstairs now. Needed something more compact with the bedroom, 50" was to big.

Popped into Comet and took a look at the 40-42" TVs, wanted something sleak and slim for the bedroom.. With 600hz sub field motion. Spending no more than £400.

Was a couple of 40-42" Samsungs with 1080p, all them looked a little bulky though. Sony TVs were also even bulker than the Samsungs.. Since i may wish to wall mount it, a thinner and sleak TV was really a must.

LG 42PJ350 looked the business, with 600hz but only at 720p.. Got the chap to demo a bluray on this and the Samsung.. Really wasn't much difference at all, so i'm inclined to think that at our viewing distance in the bedroom.. It's really going to be indistinguishable.... Plus since i have a 50" 1080p 3DTV downstairs, it wouldnt be such a big deal.

At £350, i feel it was a good bargain.

Apart from LED TV's - it was the slimmest they had. Even then, wasnt far off the depth of an LED TV. Picture quality has been great so far.

i bought a 42jp550 from currys, it has an excellent picture and is well worth the money. the only diff between the 350 and the 550 is the 550 can play avis and mkv etc from usb memory sticks.
