Pros: HD up-scaling isn't bad, 3D glasses supplied, fairly straightforward to use, low price, effective light sensor

Cons: Reflective screen, dull SD and HD lacks detail, poor 3D effect, processed audio performance, high power use, a fair few glitches

Heat added for the price.

Bravery +1 added for posting a 720p TV - they're no good for keeping up with the Jones's you see and you'll get lots of comments about how eye meltingly naff 720p is - despite all HD broadcasts being 720p

All the HD broadcasts I receive are 1080i

But I know what you are saying

One thing I've always found amusing are the FullHD plasmas that have a 1024x768 rsolution.

They don't. they are HD Ready Plasma's

FullHD plasma's are 1920x1080...

Mmmm, interlacing....

As mentioned, full HD plasma's have panel resolutions of 1920x1080.

You can get Plasma's that 'accept' a 1080p signal, but downscale to 1024x768 to suit the panel.
