Not sure if this will help anyone but heres the Which report for this TV

The LG 42PX5D is a good all-rounder and its picture has no obvious weaknesses.

It's digital and HD-ready and for watching DVD blockbusters it could be your best choice. Just turn up the volume to obscure the mildly irritating fan noise.

High-definition pictures are of course better than standard-definition pictures. However, we've seen better HD quality on rival sets. The colour is OK but pictures can seem a little soft, dull and flat in comparison, with a loss of detail on black backgrounds.

There are three Scart sockets (but only one carries a high quality RGB signal), a VGA input for your PC and a HDMI socket for receiving a high definition signal. There are also dedicated audio sockets for connecting to your stereo but no socket to plug in any headphones. Thankfully the TV automatically switches from widescreen to 4:3 pictures according to the broadcast signal.

The eight day EPG has a bit of a complex lay-out but it shows six channels over an hour and a half time period. There’s no facility to control recording devices (a bit like using the EPG as a PVR) but you can record digital programmes while watching on analogue and visa versa. It's easy to set up and connections are well labelled and easily accessed.

It is wall-mountable but you have to buy the necessary brackets separately and if you're wary of wasting energy beware. There is no on/off switch on the set – only a standby button. If you want to switch it off properly you'll have to unplug at the wall (although you'll miss any over the air digital software updates unless the TV is on or in standby).

Pros: Decent picture, DVD playback, easy to set up, HD-ready.

Cons: Fan noise, high definition quality not among the best.

£499.95 if you spend £1000 at Richer Sounds on AV to qualify .. I dont know if that means another £1000, or £1000 including the TV. Probably £1000 , and then another £499.95 for this.
But if it saves you £365, then you should do that. If you bought something that cost £1000, then you would just need to sell it for £735 to break even, with anything on top profit. And as Richer are cheap, you are always getting this stuff at a decent price anyway.
