LG 43 " 4K UHD TV at Richer Sounds for £429

available at Richer Sounds. Just bought one and it has a lot of extras. It's a mid level TV and all of the reviews I have seen are very good. Much better than some of the John Lewis deals being posted on here.

Which one of these? The middle one is £429, but the cheaper one may be a better buy, if you don't need Freesat HD......

The top TV doesn't have a model number on the Richer Sounds site, but appears to be the same spec as the LG 43UH661V, but without Freesat HD if you compare the two models.

that's an entry level model. This one is mid-range. had UHD and free sat as well as app download. Plus it's got 6 years warranty with it.

The one OP posted is 43UH661V and the one in the link is also a UH661V model. So how would the screen size make it entry level and this one mid-range? Confused

I've just bought the LG 43UH668V from Currys for £429 (+11% cashback on Quidco) which is the same as the LG 43UH661V but comes with the Magic remote control

I also got the LG SH2 soundbar to go with it. It's only 100W but is fine for a small living room.

How's the picture quality? In store the 43UH661V compared to the Samsung 6000, the LG looked a bit washed and not as bright. From what I've read, in possibly needs a lot of tweaking to get it right.

I paid £352 for the 43UH661V but contemplating returning it and getting a Sammy or maybe a projector, especially with the whole issue about picture quality not being on par and RGBW with LG's.

This tV or the John Lewis https://m.johnlewis.com/lg-43uh610v-led-hdr-4k-ultra-hd-smart-tv-43-with-freeview-hd/p/3079508?s_afcid=af_47868&awc=1203_1482850434_a8559a584fc2b4e71801b4e0c042d3c7#product-detail--reviews

And major differences
Also the £369 the first pic what's the difference

I don't think you can judge a TV by how it looks in the showroom as they will be usually running in a demo mode designed to look good under the fluorescent lights.

I'm no expert when it comes to picture quality but it seems fine to me even when upscaling SD pictures. I've only had the set a couple of days so haven't had chance to play around with the picture settings but there are some recommendations in the Amazon reviews: amazon.co.uk/pro…ent

From what I can tell
1) Different stands
2) 610v has Freeview. 661v/668v has Freeview and Freesat
3) 610v doesn't have Bluetooth to connect a wireless speaker/soundbar
4) 610v has one USB2 port. 661v/668v has USB2 and USB3.

Thanks for that.
Not really fussed with stand as the tV will be going up a wall
Do you think JL is still a good buy. It's around my maximum budget so I am leaning towards that. Plus the 5 year warranty. No idea what to get lol

No, it wasn't running a demo, they were showing sky in richer sounds and I asked tho see different channels. Overall the Sammy 6000 did look better, plus I like the fact that with Samsung remote app is so simple and connects with all Samsungs. LG's remote is useless! Think Iay just get a projector, wasn't fussed about 4k initially due to what I'll be using it for for which full HD is fine, but I like the idea of upscaling. Although, I prefer a bigger picture.
