Interface is excellent IMO. Clear, simple and stable. Much prefer it to the Sony Android/YouView mashup. Got this exact TV for £379 on prime day in the summer

Anyone know much about this panel? It says 50hz on the specifications - if true that’s really off putting for me (won’t be able to game at 60fps unless it has a 60hz option somewhere)

It's really unusual these days to see a TV that won't do both, They're advertised as 50hz because most content is 25/50fps.

What puts me off LG is that the programme guide is so slow to load and switch. I've lived with this on my current LG for 5 years and I think I'm going to move to Samsung. I'd be interested in other views though - the more TVs I've looked at the more confused I've become!

EPG usually depends on your satellite or freeview signal as well as internet connection, IMHO.

Beware, bought this same TV from RS about a month ago. The viewing angles were terrible, not 178 degrees of viewing as advertised. Brightness was also mediocre, specially when standing anywhere but dead in front of TV. Returned mine for a penalty.

The interface, though, was very nice & easy to skim through. The advanced settings on the other hand were a pain in the backside...

I compared two similar sets side by side in JL - the Samsung was FAR faster than the LG. I'm tolf the Samsung uses a much faster (quad core?) processor, whatever that means - I don't care how it works as long as it does. My current LG is so dimwitted it feels like you could go and make a cup of tea while it sorts itself out!

I agree. Processor could also be a reason for it loading EPG etc late.
