Not sure - I couldn't work out the differences. Only thing I could think of is that the 701 has the Magic Remote?

From what I can see the Samsung is 1300 vs 1900 (picture interpolation) on the LG.
It is Multi HDR (HDR 10 & HLG)
You also get better speakers and remote on LG. You gotta way up the extra cost of what you need it for

What have you seen that’s more pricey? I think this one is the best bang for your buck for a 43 inch at the mo.

You are defo right but I was also looking at the SONY BRAVIA KD43XE8396 43" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV at £599 with 5 year warranty. Not sure if it' worth the extra £200 though.

Any other recommendations? Looking to use up the £313 Currys gift voucher!

I have the exact same dilemma. I actually think Samsung's are generally better quality personally (price for price). The lack of free view play is what's putting me off the samsung. I don't know what tvplus is?

As much as I love the magic remote, it is just one of those gimmicks that's cool to show off but doesn't particularly add anything... sound quality on tvs is generally ass anyway.
Great price voted hot!

If you have soundbar/surround sound system and want to save another £20 then the LG 3UJ670V richersounds.com/tv-…tml from Richer Sounds is exactly the same TV except for the Harmon Kardon speakers

I had a Samsung 40" 4k and it served me well. Wanted Sony for the Android feature. Might hold out a but longer or order this :s
What's the peak brightness of this? and is it true 10 bit?

Not sure about brightness but it's 8 bits + FRC = 10 bits. You will need to pay much more for a proper 10 bit panel

Yeah my main TV is 10bit 1000 nits, looking for a smaller and similar TV for the bedroom.

My best bet looks like the Samsung MU7000 but they are a bit expensive.

What’s the difference between this and a LG 43UJ750V? Does anyone think the sound would be better? Edge or direct lit leds, does that make any difference? Cheers

I decided to get this in the end.

If your still undecided watch this useful YouTube review
Anyone else ordered this? Got mine today. What' with the cheap protective panel confront of the screen?
Hmm just checked these out in store, why does it look better than my UJ 750V I just got? Maybe just because it was in demo mode?? Picture looks great , Sony 43xe8396 looked even better .
